Except there is no measure to say Kamara was a better player that Hurd at the time.

Hurd was on his way to obliterating the all time rushing record at UT. Kamara was underused, but its not like he was not getting touches in favor of some chump either.

For a fact. I watched the practice videos. If they can barely hit a receiver running routes on air it's not hard to extrapolate they are going to do worse when a defense is out there.

I think that plus playing guys like Jeremy Banks at linebacker (a guy who’s never played snaps at LB and just started practicing with the group) and To’o(a true freshman who’s been on campus for 4 months) shows the players that Pruitt only cares about his guys. I think it caused a divide amongst the team and that’s why I think those boys didn’t rally together when they were getting hit in the mouth. Also explains why Pruitt didn’t bother trying to rule them up cause he knows how they feel already.

Your post doesn't logically follow. The team is mad because JG continues to start and because Pruitt favors "his guys." JG isn't one of Pruitt's guys.

If Pruitt favors guys he's recruited, why isn't Maurer (or Shrout) starting?

U do understand two of those scores they got were directly on JG rite.Its been hashed to death but he missed the corner blitz fumbled lead to points ,next drive same blitz sack no audible nuthun.then kid doesn’t know where a first down marker is on third down they get the ball drive score.If u qb and offense can’t stay on the field more than a series ur under achieving defense is eventually gonna wear out.Hey now I’m not saying it wasn’t a sh*t show all around,but if u can’t see the multiple rookie mistakes by JG then I’m not sure I can convince u otherwise.The lack of leadership from coaches to offense to defense is troublesome period!

Not sure why we are bashing JG when we essentially ran the clock out at the end of the half and had terrible play calls for the entire second half...but I digress.

If our Defense can’t hold that team to less than 17 points we have major issues. Our defensive staff including Pruitt needs a lot of work. DL was terrible, LBs we’re out of position...that wasn’t JGs fault, that was the D and the DC not having people ready to play. Maybe Pick some starters and stay with it and sub out when they are gassed?

3rd straight game the team has quit on Pruitt. Yes JG is not good but we have bigger problems. 4th down and Pruitt can't be found on the sidelines..talking with d-lineman. he is going to have to learn he is the head coach. so far he is a failure. we have no choice but to stick with him but it could get worse before it gets better.

I don't know what the situation is with JG, but as far as the game Saturday the defense sucked and JG don't play defense. Most any team with a good defense could beat Ga. State with 21 points so although the offense didn't play great they sure outshined the Pruitt defense who looked quite like the the Sunseri defense.

I’ve watched all the same practice videos. And I’ve noticed something. They don’t show many BM throws at all. So it’s funny you’ve seen it on the same videos. Even when throwing side by side of JG the camera tracks JGs throw. Not BMs or JTSs. Also you do realize they can easily edit what they want us to see to fit the narrative in a closed practice right? Are you of the opinion that none of JGs passes have been erratic or intercepted throughout all of camp? Because they don’t talk about it or show it. So just be honest with yourself and admit that you don’t really KNOW anything to be fact. You know what you’ve been spoon fed just as anyone else.

But there is one thing you have seen. You’ve seen that you’ve already eaten your words in the ONE opportunity we’ve had to SEE BM with a defense out there. He completed 70% of his passes and they weren’t check downs.

Watch Furman light them up for about 50 this Saturday...Then you'll get an idea of how good our offense is.

I will be more interested on how many points they score on Furman. If they score like 14 or even 21 that will be certainly be something that would be interesting to compare to what we did.

Does what you are hinting at even make a bit of sense?

On what planet does a coach purposely try to lose? He and all the other coaches' livelihood depends on 2 things.....W's and L's.

I’m not hinting at anything other facts playboy. Did BM show he was worse in the spring game with a defense out there than the passes you didn’t see in practice at 70%? What was JGs%? Wasn’t it like 50% or so? Who was more “inconsistent”? I just beat you at your own argument and you’re having issues with it. But it’s clear you’ve done absolutely no homework on either Qb, otherwise your opinion that BM is obviously worse with a defense out there would’ve never left your fingertips.

I see reading comprehension isn't your strong suit. Nowhere did I say that Maurer isn't currently or won't be a better QB in the future. I'm simply proposing that your conspiracy theory about the coaches feeding you what they want through the media is a bit foolish. But keeping doing you, playboy.

Im so sick of watching him throw to guys that are standing still, waiting on the ball only to get tackled as the ball touches their hands. Hopefully there will soon be a video of all his throws in that game so I can put myself through the misery of watching them again. His "best" is behind him and he can't grow.

It’s not a conspiracy that I’m meaning to hint at. I’m saying there are circumstances that have happened in the spring and fall that clearly disprove the narrative. I understand why JG is the starter. But to suggest it’s because the backups are worse? That’s just plain stupid when we’ve all already SEEN otherwise.
