I’m so confused. Pruitt was fired up last year. He was passionate. And after that mess, he just defends the team and gives coach speak? Frost up there criticizing his offense on a team that won, Hurts criticism his performance and his team on a team that dominated, and Pruitt has no fire or passion? Where is 2017-18 Pruitt?

It’s much easier to rip your players a new a s s hole after a bad performance that ended in a win. These players know darn well they just gave themselves the legacy of being the team with the worst loss ever in our history. Imo the worst thing Pruitt could do would be to rip them and do what many are saying here needs to be done. The only chance he has is to get in the bunker with those kids and fight his way out. If he can’t get them on board he’s done and rightfully so.

This is exactly right. Anything he says will get scrutinized. He’s playing the long game with his players, hoping that they recover mentally.

I would hope the message is way different to the team than to the media and fans.

Rick Barnes has no problems holding players accountable and calling then out. I thought Pruitt used to have this same mindset but he seems to have changed that.

While I love Rick, he also got blasted for being too honest. There is a middle ground, and you play the psychology game with your team and not with the fans and media.

Fulmer was unqualified to be AD. I said it when we hired him. Fulmer is for Fulmer.
I do not doubt he loves UT, but there is nothing that qualifies him to be AD.
