I couldn't understand how we had no one for the pitch man all night long.
GaState changed their OC and whole offense during off season. They are now running old AppyState offense that Satterfield ran and is now running at Louisville, New OC coached at AppyState and was OC at Western Carolina.
GaState ran very little option last year and our coaches would have known it if they have done research and film study.

Maybe this game was the “point maker” or something, I don’t know grasping at straws only got 13 games of Pruitt to go by and 8 are all bad losses.

Guess we can all grab ass next season or the one after still chirping about Butch Jones...Mack Brown beat USC in year 1 opening day and UNC is full of Butch level talent.

Ugh 😑

Yea honestly it shouldn’t matter. You don’t spend all off season and quite honestly the game week just diving in studying hard on GA state. You work on your go to sets and plays and add in some wrinkles on offense and defense that you may or may not even use.
Yes. With mainly the same starting 5 OL and a few others mixed in occasionally to get some reps. I think this while mentality of we are going to rotate 8 different guys through 4 different positions really bit CJP. I feel like their is no sense of ownership or responsibility because of it. And no leaders step up because everyone is always in a constant state of movement and adjustment.

@SLICKYINC i went over and this is the first thing I clicked on 🤦‍♂️

If Pruitt can turn this around and is canned end of next year we all know we are getting another no name coach or coordinator with no HC experience.

That is what is so sad.

There is literally no light at the end of the tunnel and calling for his head will only get us a nice google search thread on who the hell our new coach even is.

Sad times.

Let's call a spade a spade, we're a win vs Florida away from half of y'all claiming Pruitt's a mad scientist and that GA St. game didn't really matter anyway.
I've sad a hundred times that I'd except a loss to ___ to beat Fl or Bama.
I don't see it happening but in fantasy land? Hell yes, we still pull off 7 wins but trade GS for FL, I'm right back on board.

Real talk I still think Pruitt gets Year 3, but I wouldn’t be surprised if the HC of the future is on staff. (Chaney or Tee).

Found a break. Go to your basement to figure out where the yellow jackets that keep slipping under you door frame are headed.

Open the ceiling, stick your head between the floor joists and suddenly jerk the insulation from the band board that connects to outside. Surprise!!! For the next few minutes, you don't give a rat's butt what happened in football yesterday.

Can I come over and get a reprieve?

Well, My wife had a semi legit form of ptsd from that night. We almost had Chick-fil-A Friday and the dude in the costume was outside. My wife somehow forgot which pedal was the brake and about ran the guy over. We ended up not eating their and settled for Zaxbys instead.

And another thing fellas. If your wife has her tubes tied and ****. Still pull out. 😫
😳

1 game going from sunshine to nega. Cmon Bass. Keep the hope alive and let the season play out. I do NOT think we'll see a performance like that (relative to the competition...) again all season.

Sit back and ride the journey. It'll get better.
I want that to be true, but I think we are about to see the worst season in Tennessee history. The program is just rotted to it's core. It set in over the Dooley/Butch years and has destroyed the program. I think Bass is right, but I want you to be right.

Now even the biggest pumpers on the board like Ron are in shock at the total putrid crap we saw. It makes zero sense...Like if they had went out and actually tried to lose on purpose, I don't think they could have done a better job.

I was hoping to see the culture change if nothing else, but it is still just a team full of quitters that will not do what it takes to win. The new guys have been infected with the same septic rot, and it just goes on and on.

I'm sorry I feel this way, I really am, but I now see no end to this sickness. I am 51 years old and already in bad health myself, and I will never see a real Tennessee Volunteer team in my lifetime. LWS has always been right.

Because some of them aren't invested. They don't care enough. Either they're just marking time till they graduate or they're just not good enough and pissed about getting passed over or they just don't want to put in the effort. The coaches know who they are and so do the players.
They may know who they are but I've yet to see a player step up into any form of leadership role. So knowing is only a small part of the problem. The bigger part of the problem is actually addressing and correcting it. Dont see that happening.
