I’m going to be honest. Last night was deflating, but I’m gonna wait and see till we play BYU. If we play terrible again, then I think more is wrong than we might think. Also, could Georgia State be better than what we though? Possibly. To me it just seemed like our defense was lost last night. Offense seemed okay, nothing special, but the defense is what lost us the game

If Pruitt has checked out, which appears to be the case, you have to slide Chaney in as interim HC. He’s the most experienced guy on the staff and is smart enough to know what to do to get the ship turned around this year before this gets out of hand

From the beginning it was talked about that this is a 3 year rebuild. Does it suck? Yes but it is what it is at this point we lost.

If you start playing Maurer, this is what I think you’ll get.. has the same type attitude... if he’s gonna go down, he’s going down swinging and talking s*** the whole way... that’s exactly what this team needs.. someone with a set of balls to challenge his teammates. It’s 100 percent mental for this team.

I said that after the spring game, he’s has more moxey than any QB on the roster. But, he obviously wasn’t ready to play yet.

Imho, he needs to be ready to play before they put him in a game much less start him.

But, he’s certainly got something that JG has been missing!

I look at players on that 2001 team. We looked big, strong, and fast. Now we look weak, soft, and slow. Its night and day difference.

We don’t need Thompson back anywhere near the program. People that volatile who are too mentally and emotionally unstable to go a year and a half without domestic incidents are nothing but trouble. Good football player, bad person who will likely embarrass whatever university gives him his next chance. We were his second chance and he blew it. Sucks to lose our best DB, but the kid is trouble.
