Doeren turned down Currie...who then did the Hail Mary for Gundy. He didn’t even have a football to throw to Leach. Its just so TN (one step forward, two steps back) to have a coach like Leach wrapped up, then blow that up, in what was badically a coup that saw CFP "step up" and install himself as AD. Heck he couldn't even get NC State Dorean to take on the job. I remember I eas so excited when I went to sleep that Thursday night thinking we were getting Leach.
I can look past the results of last year’s game, but the similarities were uncanny. A team that wasn’t ready to play. Fumbles the ball within the first 2 plays of the game. A team that looked not just out talented, but out coached. Where are the play makers on both sides of the ball? Gray should’ve had 20 touches he’s obviously a step above everyone else. Why not let Crouch run wild? Warrior ain’t SEC quality and neither is Burrell. DL is awful. JG is awful. Play all the freshmen. Encourage everyone to hit the transfer portal. Take our lumps with Maurer or Shrout and move this train forward.Last year was a top 10 team. This year a bottom 10 team. I can look past one, but Year 2 to GS?
I must’ve said to my brother 10 times, “where the hell is Pruitt or anybody getting pissed off on the sidelines?” Nobody cared or were too shell shocked to speak up and that’s something I just can’t wrap my head around.Maybe I missed it but I didnt see a single argument on the sideline from any players. No JJ or Trey in the faces of their teammates. JG.. nothing. It really is a bad dream come to life.
I think that’s probably spot on. He doesn’t engage or try to learn/ motivate between possessions. The lack of urgency from everyone after halftime really is the worst part. Nothing but “ this is our fault and not tolerated by anyone.” Is the only verbal response I need to hear from any player or coach. Followed by an absolute every position up for grabs hell week.I get the impression from his comment on his play last night he thinks I'm a good player on a crappy team.
Does JG resemble a lion?TWSS. But seriously, JG thinks of himself as a lion? Is his attitude not part of the issue? How does this guy have a starting job at UT?
Does JG resemble a lion?
A male’s job is critical to the protection of his pride. Male lions patrol the territory where the pride lives, and will fight to protect it. They travel vast distances to patrol their territory, by scent marking and vocalizing, to ensure other lions who may be a threat, stay away. It is critical for male lions to keep out other males, because if another male or coalition comes to dominate, they will kill all the cubs to keep from expending energy on raising cubs that are not their own offspring.
