I agree with you. It is scary but he has some of the best doctors around him and I’m sure they will be monitoring the situation very closely. Also I don’t think the university/doctors/Pruitt would sign off on it if they had any serious doubts. All we can do is continue to pray for the young man.

I "feared" for Trey before he got cleared. So clearing him means he gets to play and pursue his dream while the fear hangs around.

They said he would play, but not sure how much. I honestly don’t think he will play much, but he’s worked so hard, that coach is gonna get him in.

I hope I’m wrong, but blood clots are an insanely dangerous thing, and his life is not worth losing over football

Also, there are handheld PT\INR machines that will tell how well he’s clotting, but anything more than that requires lab testing really

Trey Smith at 60% is better than any OL we had last year.

Really happy for the kid. I really hope he can play and get drafted and get that life changing money he deserves.

Did you guys forget that he almost killed a Freshman like a week ago during a light contact drill......

Pruitt said he is down to 320lbs from 365. That he is in the best shape of his life. He is going to maul some opposing defenders...... especially since they are putting him back at guard where he is more natural. Chandler and Gray will have a lot of yards behind Trey Smith. It is going to be glorious!

I remember Trey wasn't as good after his first diagnosis than his freshman campaign. Hopefully he gets back into the rhythm quickly with no issues. I'm really pulling for him to stay healthy.

Here bro, why don’t you check out our OL’s advanced metrics from last year. Rated 127th overall and had the highest percentage of runs stuffed at or behind the line of scrimmage. That tells me we had a historically bad offensive line. They were actually at their worst on plays where JG’s decision making didn’t influence the outcome of the play. I honestly don’t even think it’s possible to exaggerate just how bad they were.

Tennessee will have a very good offensive line in 2019. Coach Pruitt and the Vols will prove the College Football experts wrong and win 8-9 games.
