No. He and his family made the decision months ago. As long as his scans are clear, he wants to play and UT is going to take every precaution to make that possible for him.
Yep - I’m sure the “waiting” has been just confirming his weekly blood test came back clean.

This is a deferred adjudication probation disposition. That is, the person takes a plea of guilty or no contest with a promise of probation. After he completes his probation and all special conditions, the adjudication is withheld and no judgment of guilty goes onto his record. So he would not have a felony record.

Basically then, it stahds for "Withheld Adudication-Probation Special Conditions."

That’ll be 9.95

I do better research quicker than most the journalist🙄🙄🙄
It is called Judicial Diversion in Tennessee. It is basically everyone's one and only get out of jail free card.

I know a lot of people don’t have faith in Banks. But I think he needs to be on the field as much as possible. He has a certain fire that we haven’t had in a long time.
Just watching him run drills, he just runs with speed and violence. I think when he learns what he's doing he'll be a difference maker. Guy loves to play football and he loves to hit people

Been there done that
One of the few things in our justice system that I am truly a big fan of. It allows for people who made a singular (typically large) mistake the opportunity for a second chance. Keep clean and you have a clean slate. However if you have any sort of charge while on probation then all the charges are enforced. Those kind of charges are life altering and typically only makes things worse for the individual.

Luckily that was my only run in with the law

I wonder how long Trey has been able to participate in contact in practice. I would bet he has been for a while, just not during the 5 minutes that are open to media.
I could be 100% wrong here, but I expect that would mean having him off his meds. Jmo but I think the staff was keeping him on them until the very last possible moment. Ga St is no more than a scrimmage. Then he has a week to practice and play a legit opponent, and so on.

They did something similar last year, taking him off and clearing him 2 weeks to go, before a ranked WVU. He eventually had to go back on them. I think, due partially to that outcome, they are pushing the date back as far as possible.

Hopefully it's behind him but I would imagine he has to get cleared pretty much every week. He needs a healthy year and then he needs to start making a pay check.
