Farragut HS is a great school with great athletics (if your kids are athletes). But.... has sadly had a recent (last 5-6 yrs) issue with students committing suicide.
I can 2nd this, Baseball is BIG at Farragut, I'm also a little biased because I played there. 10 State championships in AAA, which is the biggest.

Newt is far cooler than I had imagined. #AmericanGansgster
Guess it's all about what folks have been exposed to. I was more surprised at people being surprised than @bignewt story.

Was my brother's ex wife that got me but in the leg. She was drinking and feeling all redneck, I thought I would be the voice of reason and step in with no danger.

There was a flaw in my rationale.
"What a turn of events!"

Boys, I’ve been putting in work. Got the wife to agree to a verbal move in the next two years to Farragut. Biggest question is how are the schools (charter included). Anyone have inside deets?
Farragut is an excellent school. Bearden and Hardin valley are also good schools. Those HS and their feeder schools are the schools that get most of Knox county money because it's where the well off people live. They're still trying to fight charter schools over here for some reason. Christian Academy of Knoxville is also a good school.

I want Bryce Thompson on the team, guy is so talented. However, when the season is just about to start, why would you put yourself in a situation like this? I know he is young but has he not been listening to all these speakers? Does he not know he has NFL potential if he just does his job and balls? It's straight up stupidity and I don't have time for it. He potentially is letting his team, his family and himself down. I don't care if he just simply got in an argument with his fiancee, you don't lose your cool the WEEK BEFORE THE FIRST GAME. Suspension is getting off lucky. No one player is above the team and this is the kind of crap that screws with team goals. I'm not going to lament his loss and complain that he should be playing against BYU and Florida. Just disappointing.
What he did was stupid...so is he stupid, or did he just do something stupid? I guess that is a good question.

If he is stupid, then he will probably do something else stupid at some point, and will end up ruining his future, but if this is just something he did stupid, then hopefully he learns the lesson, and moves on to have a good life, and a great career..

First order of business today should be giving that pronunciation guide to Bob Kesling so he can get some quality reps this week.

"Toot toot with the tackle! All aboooard!!"

"Quavo Crouch, hidden dragon with the roundhouse!! Booom muthalickas!"

"Warren Burial! Add another to the body count!!"

If only...

Stupid is established over time. He did something in HS to build some stupid history. Enough history eventually builds up enough to become a characteristic. He needs some professional counseling. Kicking him out of UT won't help him and will only turn him away and further into antisocal behavior.

they took her away in an ambulance because she was suicidal. I rode along, I had a jacket on and blood was dripping out from the sleeve. The EMT kept asking me if I was ok and I said I was because if they saw the wound I was afraid they would arrest her for assault, hell I didn't know. Got a few stitches that next morning, now just have a scar to remind me that crazy doesn't change and to always steer clear.
