Really?? TIL
around 2005 the law changed to MUST arrest when some police left the scene of a domestic and someone was later killed. so if you determine someone was touched or threatened in such a way as to believe imminent bodily harm, cops have the duty to arrest at least one, and the option to arrest both when responding to a domestic

They're all reporting what KNS is reporting because they can't do research

Well, you would have to go interview the victim to do that or take a statement from Bryce himself, and that ain’t happening. No one involved in the process is going to publicly comment.

Didn't Mullen let a kid play after a 1 game suspension for beating a woman? There was another kid at OU that just got a slap on the hand too I believe.

At least Thompson took it out on something other than his girlfriend.

Unfortunately, the "shoot up the school" is going to be a problem. Can we please just keep nice things?

Chad Kelly said he was going to spray the club with his AK.

And not to sound problematic--- terrorists usually accumulate weapons, post on niche forums, and write manifestos "justifying" why they're setting out to kill a mass of people. They don't (allegedly) shoot off at the mouth in an argument with their girlfriends.. usually because they don't have girlfriends or anything else going for them. I think everyone sounding the alarm over this part of the story is a little too far.

This sadly is a real thing in TN. Seems to me to trample civil rights. Hopefully there will be some common sense applied at some point.
