Kasim Hill would make me feel much better about the backup situation.

Not great by any means, but if the defense/run game improves he’ll give you a chance. Better than I can say about Maurer/Shrout right now.

He has a little more experience but that doesn't mean he's better than Shrout or Maurer. 6 of his 10 games last year (and 8 of his total 13) he had 76 or fewer yards passing. And his most rushing yards in a game last year was 14. 49% completions at 6.4 yards per attempt isn't exactly efficient. I would rather roll with Shrout and Mauer. I'll root for him if he plays here, but I have more faith in what we already have than I do in him.

I enjoyed it until they got into all of the conspiracy theories about how Wayne Williams was supposedly framed. It was interesting to hear the phone conversations with him in prison though.

That’s fair. Maurer/Shrout may be just fine. Having a QB with some actual game time under his belt just makes me feel better.

That name reminds me of Dooley. The few times that Fugate played, he seemed like a very good blocker at fullback, but Dooley just buried him so deeply in the dog house, he didn't have a chance afterwards. Also Dooley loved using Fugate as a target for his press conference wisecracks

It’s interesting that the still maintains that he is innocent. They still never linked him to any of the children. Does make you wonder. Usually these guys talk eventually except for EARONS
