I know several people that know him, and they’ve said the same. I went to Marshall, basically where he got his start in Huntington. A good friends younger brother is friends with the entire band, and Tyler to an extent. Also, the amazingly hot girl I get massages from has friends in the same circle, and she’s met him several times and said the same.Weird dude for sure. I’ve got a cousin who is on the circuit and she said he’s super introverted
Or it could be as simple as this: our OLB's main function is as pass rushers, so occasionally it's beneficial for DL and/or MLB to get some work in with the coach who teachers our DPRs (designated pass rushers) how to effectively pass rush.I think it's more about situational versatility. Olb pass rush is a little different in that it's more lining up in a standing position vs having yer hand in the dirt. They wouldn't need to go to the olb group for pass rush as dl learns that too. All 3 of those guys have probably been working on pass rush for 3 and 4 man fronts with rocker. My guess is they show enough athleticism to stand up in some situations if necessary. Like we have a 4 man front in and can't substitute but wanna shift to a 3 man front, they can stand up. Or even a 2 down linemen front. It's also possible they were getting some practice dropping into coverage on a tight end. Possibly for zone blitzes similar to what the Steelers used to run where you don't know who's rushing and who's dropping back. I just think they wouldn't be experimenting with those guys at olb if they didn't see the athleticism they need to pull it off.
That's not necessarily our OLB's only function though. They also have to set the edge against the run and occasionally drop in coverage. Otherwise in a 34 front we would be blitzing with at least 5 on every play. Which we don't do. Rocker also teaches pass rush to the dl. I'm not saying they're moving to OLB. Just that imo he picked 3 dl that have the athleticism to play olb situationally. To be able to have some pass rush moves out of a 2 point stance for sure. But Pruitt likes position and formation versatility for sub packages so cross training makes sense.Or it could be as simple as this: our OLB's main function is as pass rushers, so occasionally it's beneficial for DL and/or MLB to get some work in with the coach who teachers our DPRs (designated pass rushers) how to effectively pass rush.
Primary function. The defensive staff refers to them as DPRs for a reason. We see ILB's get some reps in practice with the OLBs occasionally too. Just seems logical that anybody who may line up head up or outside of an OT will get some reps practice with Rumph occasionally. That's not necessarily our OLB's only function though. My mom (65) has it too. That sucks.Thirty odd years ago I made a promise to my Dad. Today I had to keep that promise. My dad has had Dementia for several years his health the few months has steadily declined so today I put him on Hospice care to just keep him comfortable as he slips away. For a brief time today he opened his eyes. I took his hand laid my head on his chest and him I loved him and it was ok to just let go. I cried like a baby (at 61) not ashamed. If your mom and dad are still alive tell them you love while you can.

Yes, none of that changes my original point that they probably see something in the guys they rotate there athletically to be able to use them there situationally. Which is why I brought up that Middleton must have some serious athleticism to do that at his size. Yer point definitely makes sense when they have ilb training with rumph. But rocker trains pass rush too so if a dl cross trains at olb he's probably learning more than just pass rush.Primary function. The defensive staff refers to them as DPRs for a reason. Eh, we'll see. Looks like all the guys they worked there are DEs. Our DEs will occasionally line up in 5 techniques (outside shoulder of OTs). Rocker's specialty has always been with interior DL. Pass rushing techniques for guys on the edge vary a bit from those of interior DL.Yes, none of that changes my original point that they probably see something in the guys they rotate there athletically to be able to use them there situationally.
