Just ignore. He’s had an agenda against JG for two years now. He isn’t going to change his mind.
Sure, JG has made some bad reads and missed seeing some blitzes but he also throws a pretty ball given the time.

All QBs make mistakes but JGs have been magnified because of the OL. I think if the line does its job then JG is a solid QB.

Inky is the truth. Very powerful words he’s speaking. There is no tolerance for quitting. And quitting in football isn’t just about football. It’s life. If you quit on the field what are you going to do when life gets tough? Quitting is for losers. Not giving your all isn’t acceptable. I love Inky. We need 120 Inky’s on the team.

Damn. I was still fighting through the crowd trying to get into the stadium when that happened. One of the least memorable Vols games I've ever attended. Started out blazing hot and we were sort of hanging in there, then a storm rolled through, the weather cooled off by 20 degrees, and WVU quietly steamrolled us.

lol i remember page long arguments on here about how crappy our staff looked heading into 2017 and that Haney’s article about the culture having a point and getting crazy heat for it.

I thought we were a 5-7 or 6-6 team heading into last year and got crap for expecting little from the OL and for our pass rush to he sub par.

I’m far from a sunshine pumper, but anybody who’s looked at our schedule and compared what we’re returning to what others are returning can see that this is a 6+ win team unless the injury bug hits us in a bad way.

I was more like.,..

Well that remains to be seen, he hasn’t won 6 yet and he hasn’t beat Vanderbilt!!!

It comes down to how he will handle pressure and his decision making.

Every QB faces pressure, and so far JG hasn’t been very good at handling it. Unfortunately, he folds like a cheap tent during a storm.

So when Sugar turns to Sh!t and it MOST CERTAINLY WILL what does he do?

Does he feel it and escape or not. Does he make a play?

Or does he continue to be a statue that just keeps taking hit after hit until he’s knocked out of the game.

Does he make a play when sugar turns sour?

If he’s improved at that then the Vols will go as far as he can take them.
He played behind the worst OL in P5 last year and we still were a couple plays on the road in Columbia (on offense OR defense) away from bowling. Worse QBs have gotten to bowls lol the fact that you think bowl eligibility hinges on more upon JG than how we do in the trenches shows that you either have no idea what you’re talking about or are just too blinded by bias against JG to look at this in a grounded manner.

I get that the QB is the most visible player and that makes it easier to lay things at his feet than to pay attention and put in the effort to understand what what the other 21 guys on the field are doing, but this is an incredibly lazy take.

I had just hit send on a text to a Gator fan in which I declared Butch Jones problem wasn’t recruiting and that Tennessee’s roster was in much better shape than Florida’s. I was feeling saucy and declaring Tennessee was going to wip Florida. ...As that WVU game unfolded I realized I was in for another 3 to 5 year rebuild and that I needed to give up on trash talking other SEC teams for a while...

What exactly was Brandon kennedy doing there

Guarantano goes up to the line, sees how far off the DBs are playing, checks to the quick throw to the WR.

Watch the RG (Ryan Johnson). It looks like he was supposed to come down and block the DL, and Kennedy was supposed to chip and release to hit the linebacker to help cutoff any backside pursuit on the quick throw. That's why he makes contact, but he's off to the side so strangely.

However, Johnson got the assignment wrong, and and fired off immediately, which risks an ineligible man downfield penalty.. I think he thought they were still in a run play, fired off to hit the LB, and was surprised that the LB wasn't running into the hole to stuff a run.
