I dont get what ur saying 2017 he converted every key 3rd play during that season..This season he is at his natural position I guarantee you he have a big season..He put on weight and he ready to contribute..
You don’t get what I’m talking about? He had 37 receptions for 482 yards in 2017. 17 of those receptions and 280 of those yards came in 3 games against Indians State, UMASS, and Vandy (where we played from behind the entire game). Looking back, I do think he had a big catch late against USCe that kept a drive alive. But then he couldn’t reel in a pass in the end zone that hit him in the hands.

Hopefully he is bigger and more ready to contribute this year. We need to make sure we have quality depth that can give Callaway, Jennings, and Palmer opportunities to rest, especially against OOC cupcakes.

Was thinking about how this class will finish

We lead for -
Hardy - per everyone
Baron - per everyone
Len'Neth - per 247 CB, USCe/UT battle, OV on 8/31 think he commites shortly after
Bryson Eason - per VQ, would have committed if he could have come to BBQ
Mordecai - Per 247
Darnell Washington - Per AV and visits

That would put us at 255 points on 247

Top 2 or 3 for - Think we get Rakim, Smalls, OO, Antonio Johnson, and Omari
Rakim -
Savion Smalls -
Octavious Oxendine -
Omari Thomas -
Antontio Johnson - Hemholdt says we lead, Farrell say we don't
Reggie Grimes - USCe/UT battle
Noah Sewell - Oregon/UGA
Chris Morris - AM
Rybka - UK

That class of 25 would put us at 287 points on 247. With (3) 5 stars, (16) 4 stars - Spraggins, Lovie ( basically any Priott CB is a 4 star - DeAndre Baker at UGA, Warren Burrell, Bryce Thomson, the walk on at Bama that started for them) and Mordecai getting bumped up and (6) 3 stars.

287 points would give is the 3rd best class last year, 6th in 2018, and 7th in 2017.

I'm sure other names will pop up but interesting none the less.

98 SEC championship game on SEC network. Damn this team is fun to watch!

Thanks.
I’m watching. We’re up by 3 now.
Just hang on and we get to play FSU for nat.title.
Just imagine if we can win that, recruiting will go thru the roof and we will dominate the 2000’s....don’t you think?

Only thing I truly believe here are the running backs are really good.

Rest of it is someone just excited to finally see practice 😆.

I mean my word there’s a lot of “NFL this” “next level that” references there.
Or maybe we're going to be pretty good and the past doesn't matter? Maybe we're not cursed? Maybe we have some ballers who are making NFL level plays? Maybe things are looking up and it's okay to get excited again?

Besides, I think he only mentioned "NFL" anything with about 4 players out of 85. Last I checked, not only would that not be crazy, I'm hopeful we have way more than that.

Maybe we have good talent at skill positions, but don’t have an OL that will be good enough to allow coaches to showcase that talent against upper tier defenses week in and week out?

Seems like the answer is likely somewhere in the middle. Lots of talent on this team, but still not quite there in the trenches yet.

Hopefully on the OL we’ll at least field 5 guys who won’t be constantly blowing assignments and false starting like last year. If we can just avoid mental errors and get a body on a body consistently, it should be enough for a nice step forward offensively.

Defensively, I’m not really expecting super consistent play, but there is talent there. Hopefully that talent can make be disruptive enough to balance out the lack of experience/consistency. We may not have a shut down defense this year that forces a lot of 3 and outs, but we may be able to field a big play defense that thrives on big plays.

I'm ready to read about the defense. I think we all know what to expect from the O. Chaney will move the ball, that's never been a issue for his offenses. Good to hear JT has arm talent in team settings though.

Just lost my grandma. Kinda relieved for her as the past couple weeks have been really rough. Glad we were able to convince her to come out here a couple years ago so we could spend a lot of time together and be there with her in the end. I'm gonna miss taking her to the grocery store every weekend and her sharp wit and unconditional love.

Really glad you got to spend that time, too many of us end up regretting instead. Here if you need us and sorry my friend.

Jack and Gunner getting all ruffled at the mere thought but installing a plan to only post about the OL in the future..just in case. 😅

I’m still more concerned about DL play but Chaney’s recent disappointment in the OL does raise red flags. Was it a calculated outburst in front of the media a few days ago, or in the moment did he just reach his tolerance with their lack of performance? Not a good look for Friend either way.
