Eh, I like McGill even though we have had our disagreements. Heās a Vol.
No one is perfect, but he says some things sometimes that I wouldnāt approve even he wasnāt a preacher. Some positions just have a little higher standard than others. There are many on here who arenāt preachers who have never called anyone a dickhead.
I have imperfections, too, so I need work. I would just encourage him to work on his responses sometimes. Nonetheless, he has a great story, and I appreciate what he does. We need more people with his
He is on a message board saying dickhead. Oh my goodness. King David screwed anotherās manās wife then had him murdered. But dang it. McGill said dickhead. Hang the witch.
Caught bits and peices of the first 8 minutes of the 1st quarter of Cowboys vs 49ers replay on NFL Network. And already seen Moseley miss three plays. A PI that he failed to get his head around. A missed tackle and came free on a blitz were he completely whiffed on sacking the QB. I do NOT miss watching him do those exact same things every saturday. Looks like the practice warrior strikes again
I'm going to take a personal privilege here and demonstrate that I too can be a dickhead. I may not be that good at it but I recognize it could be fun so I'm trying it out.
I thought last year we probably had an 8 or 9 win team but in my opinion due to issues with both the players and coaches we grossly underperformed. I recognize that not everyone shares my assessment and thatās okay. The point is I donāt think weāre really starting at the same point this year that many others see. If we coached and played our best football last year and was only able to muster 5 wins that would be one thing but both inside and outside the program I donāt think a lot of people were thinking we came anywhere close to playing our best on anything close to a consistent basis last year. I think you could argue that in general we played a hell of a lot better with a lot less in 2013 than we did last year. jmo.
I like Pruitt but I think he screw it up last year and screwed it up royally. Iāve sort of thought of SEC media days last month as Pruittās apology tour. The least of my concerns are our players. Itās sort of like that Stoops comparison that was posted earlier. My concern is our coaches. Iāve seen a night and day difference in the attitude of our players this year compared to last year and I think thatās almost entirely because Iāve seen a night and day difference in Pruitt from last year to this year. Weāre about to find out how real that is. Iām pretty optimistic.
I think our fans are justifiably focused on beating Vanderbilt and maybe South Carolina, Missouri, etc. I think Pruitt is focused on beating Florida, Georgia, and Alabama, and for that we need to continue to improve. We probably still have some ways to go but I think weāre at least a 10-win team this year. jmo.
Donāt @ me fellow dickheads.
Sadly we even went 5-6 in 2005. I was at the Vandy game. I remember my dad and I thinking it was an absolute fluke of a terrible season. Then it happened again in 2008...and 2011...and 2012...and 2013...and 2017 (well, worse)...and 2018.
