Hmmm

Two things.

1) no mention of trey smith

And

2) and the media was shuffled away from the OL

I know in the past the media couldn’t report when players weren’t there so I am
Wondering if that is bad news about smith

Well it said OL was off-limits. I wouldn't expect any news on Smith given that. But that report is worded really weird. How could OL be off-limits yet he got to watch a little bit?

The media would walk past where they are working as they are leaving but told to stay away from them during the open periods.
That’s was my interpret

Imo that means they got some flack about the deal yesterday with Chaney or there is something up with smith.

im not liking how noticeably it's being noted that Solomon is back of hte line on these drills.

banks and ball security. he'll never see the field if that's not fixed.

Jamir Johnson fading or am i reading too much in to the absence of his name being brough up?

What are you liking?.
today? not much apparently lol.

not a lot to go on really.

i like hearing all the good stuff on gray.

and i liked hearing the Panthers are in town to look at DWA. Gregg Olson is gonna be done this year or next so we need the next great TE in Charlotte, and i'd be all for DWA being that guy. that'd be cool.

Jamir is being beat out by Wayne and Tatum. Really all there is to it rn

Tatum? i thought Jamir figured more on the left side? i was sort of expecting Jamir to be next in line if Trey is a no go. iirc, he still hasn't gotten the "good weight" on yet, right?

Solomon back of the line then off to s&c?
Sounds more like Solomon may have been dinged up in the scrimmage if he was heading to work with S&C coaches instead of team work Today. This would also explain why he has been at the back of the drills the last couple days. Solomon would still go through team drills just like D. Gibbs has been even if CJP has received bad news on his waiver request... unless he has a minor injury.

I’m just saying it as Jamir is a tackle and he isn’t starting at either of those spots as of now.

Probably has to do with Chaney since that got people worked up over what turned out to be the pad holders not giving enough effort. I don't think we'll know anything firm on Smith til opening day and even then he's going to have to be monitored constantly since there's no way of predicting when/if any blood clots return.

Ryan Johnson - 24 games played at UT
Trey Smith - 19 games played at UT
Marcus Tatum - 18 games played at UT
Jerome Carvin - 12 games played at UT
Jahmir Johnson - 11 games played at UT
K'Rojhn Calbert - 10 games played at UT
Riley Locklear - 10 games played at UT
At UT! You counting the trial by fire games under Butch? I’m counting the games under our present staff/S&C.

Pittman gets all the credit but I don't think it's a coincidence that the lines have done well everywhere Chaney has been.
Doesn't make Friend a bad OL coach just because he has a master teacher as a boss.

Pittman also walked into an all-NFL line when he was here. He got credit but it had as much to do with them going from freshmen and underclassmen to upperclassmen as anything else. He's done a great job at other stops but he gets far too much credit for his one year with the OL here. That OL was ridiculously talented.
