Be Ready to see thousands of BYU fans in Knoxville

Good ole Stormin Mormons not likely to get smashed and make a mess. Lol.

I spent 4 summers in Salt Lake, and I gotta say that the demographics are nice for a white guy. State is over 90% white, 60% female, and there are many many natural blondes many with blue eyes. Lots of pretty LDS girls...

Edit..if you cant find a decent looking wife in Utah, you're just a chump. The hotties are everywhere, and they are pushed from about birth to marry up and procreate. Seriously.

Two words: Temple Babes.

No, Adm. Clark Pt. Mugu, Calif., Headquarters Pacific Range, Oxnard, Ventura County, Calif.

I was an engineer, wifey remains a working RN and was during this period, and even 17 years ago we got priced out of the housing market in Oxnard. I cannot imagine how military personnel live on the economy there or at El Segundo, home of LAAFB then or now.

During my time there, the base had apx. 3000 military, 10,000 plus civilians. To wear "civvies" off base, military had to be 1st. class or better. "Downtown" was not to much to get excited over.

If they are selling beer in the stadium those rowdy drunks and tailgates will disappear. Everyone will be waiting until they get inside to enjoy one, maybe two refreshing adult beverages and sing Kumbaya.
Hillbillys will not pay $12 for a beer. They are much smarter than that.

It’s not their fault. They told me it was a little 🌶
But when you have reflux, anything spicy 🥵 goes down hard and comes back harder.
I love plain ole deep fried southern fried chicken....without any spices. That’s just me 👍
I’m really not into fried chicken that much but the first time I had Gus’s I went back another 2 times in a week LOL

I personally think it is a tribute to Tennessee football and the Neyland experience for a visiting team and fans to have a goal to attend a game in The Cathedral of southern football.

Bring all the fans you can and have a great time. You are invited to sing Rocky Top with us. You will be humming it for days afterwards.

He's not "Mormon". He's FLDS which is a different organization. They broke off from the LDS church so they could continue to practice polygamy.

Why would anyone want to have to deal with more than one woman? I love my spousal unit, but one is hard enough. More than that would ensure my early demise.

WTch the HBO series Big Love. He had it made by having three houses connected and just going to the one who was in a good mood that day. Lol

Having three wives increased his chances of being married to a huge b****. Couldn't stand the blonde wife and she was gross. That show did not make it look enticing to me.

Chloe Sivigney gross? I thought she was kind of good looking in a trashy whore kind of way.

OP, Welcome to Rocky top. The stadium really is something special when you get 102,455 charged up, and passionate fans in it.

My first experience in Neyland was about 15 years ago when we were playing Arkansas.

I had no idea what the sound would be like. When part of the team jogged out on to the field for warmups the crowd started roaring and it scared me! I immediately ducked my head! Then I realized that it was the stadium cheering and felt really stupid. I have been hooked ever since. I hope you have a great time in K Town. I also hope you go home and question if your team will win a game this year because you get dominated so bad!

Stay away from Calhouns its food out of a box and a tourist trap. Goto Petes in the square for breakfast!

Military people get paid tons of money for housing. That is not taxed. It is called BAH (Basic Allowance for Housing) in the Army.

Plus if they are single and not an E5 or Officer they live in base housing (Barracks) and meals at the DFAC and all Military personnel can shop on base at the commissary etc.

An E4 - Specialist - without dependents gets $2085 untaxed for housing in that area

An E5 - Sergeant - without dependents gets $2361 untaxed for housing in that area

Then on top of that they can file for a VA Loan and not have to make a down payment on the house and if they go to the right bank can get a really low rate.

Harping about the Mormon's multiple wives stereotype doesn't apply to the Latter Day Saints church proper. They disavowed that practices a LONG time ago. However, some offshoot factions do practice it to varying degrees of...uh, ill-advised and illegal levels. Hence Warren Jeffries and similar alternate-LDS groups.

All that being said, we non-LDS are in no position to judge them. Primarily media focus is on the Catholic kid pokers and nun lovers but protestants are no better except at hiding it. This goes on in both main and fringe protestant church groups and has for centuries. Any time you have people in a position of power over oppressed, dependent, and otherwise fear-governed people, those people will be exploited including sexually. Often structures are also in place to silence people. Kid and lady member oil well drilling happens in conservative run private schools, churches, camps, and the like. The matter is less talked about in the media but research shows it's very widespread. My point is, when you go pointing at the other guy, it's just as bad or worse on your side of the fence. And it shouldn't be part of a football forum, but guess which side initiated it? Nope, it wasn't the Mormons. Based on my years of hanging out with these people, it VERY rarely is brought up by them. It's folks stuck on old stereotypes about the LDS. Frankly, in my face to face interactions, I brought it up at times. I wanted to understand their history from them and not via hearsay. Read their and other books on them and while not an expert, I learned enough to get a fairly decent understanding of who they are. Including some very interesting tidbits of their history like the "Angels of Death" under Brigham Young if I recall correctly. Reminded me a lot of the gunslingers hired by cattle barons, night riders of the southern post Civil War killers, and various hired guns episodes in American History. Try exploring their story instead of just assuming. You just might learn something.

"Kid and lady Oil Well drilling"..?? Huh?

Don't get your secret underwear wadded up in a ball!

I lived in Utah for almost 5 years, up until about 2 months ago. You can have it. Inversions are the worst, traffic in SLC sucks to a level that matches Cali traffic, and if you aren't LDS don't even bother trying to chat up the local talent. I literally had people not talk to me after they found out I had no interest in converting. You can read all the history you want, just know this, Provo Utah is the least diverse city in the country. Utah is ground zero for multi level marketing schemes to take advantage of ye Gentiles. BYU fans are obnoxious to a level approaching bammers. Doug may be alright, but living in and around them you get really tired of the arrogance. I'm sure there'll be plenty of Jack mormons make the trip to Knoxville. You know what they say... don't invite one mormon to your party, they'll drink all your beer. Bring two and they keep each other honest.
