Many of those kids are still here. He argued they were only still playing (in 2018) because:
"Of course the 2018 Vols would have the bulk of their depth chart made up of Butch Jones recruits! He was a first-year head coach who had only been able to secure half a recruiting class for 2018."

Despicable by the author. Maybe those Vols are just talented?! The rest of his article was completely off base and had nothing to do with recruiting or the quote itself. But we shouldn't expect too much from an amateur blog haha. Not taking it too seriously. Just wish they'd support the kids, no matter who recruited them.

Just don't like authors taking shots at our kids, implying they merely played because they haven't been recruited over yet. Don't care for it! Again, nothing to do with you, just that "Caleb" guy haha.

I think these veterans are going to do well this year and show out, Caleb can keep wishing they get recruited over or whatever his thing is.

Gone from 2018 & 2019 classes already:
2018 Johnny Huggins safety, dismissed
2018 Malik Langham SDE, transferred to Vanderbilt
2019 Chris Steele, CB, transferred to USC
2019 Jalon Jones, QB, dismissed
2019 Diwan Black, ILB, JUCO
2019 Deyavie Hammond, OL, JUCO


Additionally
2018 4 star WR Jacob Copeland missed almost all of 2018 with hamstring injuries
2018 4 star OLB David Reese to miss 2019 with a torn achilles
2019 4 star CB Jaydon Hill is coming off a torn ACL
2019 4 star WR Arjei Henderson still hasn't qualified yet
2019 4 star OG Wardrick Wilson still hasn't qualified

Am I missing anyone?

Well if you’re going to do the subtracting then do the adding too:
Brenton Cox- 5 star DE
Joseph- top 50 safety

That’s a couple nice additions anyone would want

Players are typically reranked after a transfer. Solomon, for instance, was reranked a 95 4-star. I'd bet Cox will be reranked lower. Idk who Joseph is.
