Well it seems some are making themselves safer.
There are an estimated 20 million female gun owners in the U.S., according to The Well Armed Woman, a membership and training organization for women gun owners.
When it comes to purchasing firearms and gear, women don’t hold back. 60% of women polled bought at least one handgun in 2018. 26% purchased more than two. The Well Armed Woman survey of 2017 showed women, on average, personally own 5.6 guns. Women aren’t just buying handguns, 26.39% of women polled purchased a long gun in 2018.
I fail to see how this shows they're being made safer.

Not dense just disingenuous and hypocritical. Ok a little dense too.Armed robbery suspect shot dead by his gun-carrying victim
Do you still not get the point that an armed female chances of defending herself is greater than an unarmed one ? You aren’t that dense .

Dude is an idiot and very, very lucky he didn't get shot.
If his rifle had been slung in a low ready he probably would have been.
Are you intentionally obtuse or just completely clueless about firearms.
A trained and armed female has the ability to defend herself with lethal force if deemed necessary.
Being trained and armed boosts self confidence and removes victim mentality mannerisms that criminals have stated they look for.
Ask some single women that live alone if owning and being trained in firearms makes them feel safer?
