Gun control debate (merged)

Well it seems some are making themselves safer.

There are an estimated 20 million female gun owners in the U.S., according to The Well Armed Woman, a membership and training organization for women gun owners.

When it comes to purchasing firearms and gear, women don’t hold back. 60% of women polled bought at least one handgun in 2018. 26% purchased more than two. The Well Armed Woman survey of 2017 showed women, on average, personally own 5.6 guns. Women aren’t just buying handguns, 26.39% of women polled purchased a long gun in 2018.

I fail to see how this shows they're being made safer.

Women (as a whole) were slow to board the armed defense train but they've been hopping on quickly of late. I believe it's still the fastest growing market segment. This from 2016

Girls with guns

If anything I think it's still growing. You go girls!

You know what's funny about this? NRA probably advocates for everyone to have the right to open care these guns and ammunition. That shows you how wacko they are.

So what do you think the majority of gun nutz on this board are going to say about open carry in high population public places, lady?

Are you intentionally obtuse or just completely clueless about firearms.

A trained and armed female has the ability to defend herself with lethal force if deemed necessary.
Being trained and armed boosts self confidence and removes victim mentality mannerisms that criminals have stated they look for.

Ask some single women that live alone if owning and being trained in firearms makes them feel safer?

Dude is an idiot and very, very lucky he didn't get shot.

If his rifle had been slung in a low ready he probably would have been.

Correct me if I'm wrong (I avoid all things gun), but doesn't the NRA advocate for open carry rights for all firearms and no limits on ammunition? Seems like this kid was just testing the limits of the absurd world the NRA is fighting to put us in.

Stats my brother. You got em? I got a boatload saying the presence of guns in the home make women less safe. Boyfriend's have a tendency to shoot em when things go downhill.
