Gun control debate (merged)

3 of mine are .22's, and the other a 30/30. 2 are Marlins, 1 is a Henry, and 1 a Remington . I believe it is the only lever gun ever made by Remington, or was at one time. It is a Nylon 76. If you remember the old semi-auto Remington Nylon 66, it is a sister to that and was available at the same time. I bought it new, sometime in the mid-60's.

I’d love to have a Henry . Have you ever seen a JC Higgins 12 gauge bolt action shotgun ? I have one that I won in a poker game .

Yes. My brother had a 20 gauge bolt . I think it held 3 in a mag, not positive. It's been a long time.

That’s what this 12 gauge holds . I also have an odd little pistol made in Duck town Tn. It’s a double barrel 410 . Kicks like a mule . Lol

Who in Hades are these non military agencies arming up to fight against?

I looked up some of the agencies on that list.
Bureau of Reclamation build dams, power plants and canals...why on earth are they spending over half a million dollars on firearms?
Bureau of Fiscal Services promote the financial integrity and operational efficiency of the U.S. government through exceptional accounting, financing, collections, payments, and shared services..why are they spending over half a million dollars for guns & ammo?

Why are the SBA & SSA buying guns and ammo?

Love guns or hate guns, if you value any of your constitutional rights you better support 2A because once it's gone all the rest will follow.

Why the hell does the EPA need guns and body armor ? 🤨

Right!!! It's a wee bit troublesome. The more I look up the actual mission of these agencies the more I'm like WTF!

These folks spent over 4 million on guns, ammo, explosives, night vision equipment and drones.
The Animal and Plant Health Inspection Service is an agency of the United States Department of Agriculture based in Riverdale, Maryland responsible for protecting animal health, animal welfare, and plant health.

Damn, what kind of people do hang out with?

Lol it was a friendly but expensive game we had every week for a while . The shotgun was allowed into one of the big pots with an agreed dollar amount value to finish out his call .

4 dead, 2 wounded in Southern California stabbings

Huh?? No guns involved. Just a bad person.
Suspect in stabbing spree in California was 'violent criminal': Police

The 33-year-old man who is suspected of killing four people in a stabbing spree that terrorized two cities in Southern California was described by officials as a documented gang member and "violent criminal."
Castaneda had previously been incarcerated for possession of methamphetamine with the intention to distribute while armed with an assault weapon, according to Garden Grove Police Chief Tom DaRe. Officials did not know the exact date of Castaneda's release, but said they knew he had "a violent past" and gang associations.
Jones lambasted a California state Assembly bill passed into law by voters in 2011 that apparently hastened the suspect's release from incarceration
The Pubic Safety Realignment initiative was a response to a U.S. Supreme Court order to move inmates out of California's 33 state prisons because of a shortage of medical and mental-health care.

Ok. Violent people are going to hurt people. With or without guns.
