It's dumb because of the reasoning. Not because our guys aren't good.

Regardless of how good the kids are, using Pruitt's 2 week class not taking over as freshmen, is dumb

I didn’t interpret it that way

I mean the quote also says Pruitt has recruited well.

The Florida program right now

New #'s (per UT roster)

Jerrod Means #25 (to CB)
Trevon Flowers #1
Bryce Thompson #3 (old news)
Maleik Gray #84 (to WR)

Flowers, Taylor, Thompson, & Burrell are now #1, 2, 3, & 4 on defense. :)
Would love to see Gray get in the fold this year. Seems like a good kind just can't seem to reach his potential.

Thinking about the quote there is one player that I think most here would admit hasn’t lived up to what we expected. There seem to be plenty of young Pruitt guys to replace him.

Anyone surprised Warrior is still considered to easily have his starting spot?

I am a little surprised he doesn’t seem to have competition

Plus his recruiting... not great Bob. It looks good on paper, but the vast majority of his commits are from Fl. He wouldn’t have that luxury here. And he isn’t landing the best of the best in that state either. Further, who knows how many of those guys actually make it there judging from last years debacle of a class
All good points, though the ultimate judgment comes on the field and so far he's 10-3.

😅He literally said because "Pruitts guys haven't broken past them" as why but ok, yeah, don't know why I took it that way.

And said Pruitt has recruited well. No clue why you guys are interpreting that as a negative shot at Pruitt.

We better hope these butch recruits are better than many want to give butch credit for. If not we aren’t going to win more than 5-6 games

Idk but I think Warrior has the ability. Someone called him a headhunter in the cte age and I agree but there's something else also.
But certainly athletic enough.

I didn't take it that way. My sense was that he was suggesting that the players on the roster were serviceable once properly coached, and if they were as bad is it appeared under Bunch, Pruitt's new recruits would already be passing them. I took it as an indictment of Butch's development ability, which the article directly references.

Not playing your stupid games Bruin, ABSOLUTELY no one said it was negative against Pruitt.

We have good players but not being passed by freshmen isn't why. It's just because they're good enough.

I'm going with:

UF --- less
Missouri --- less
A&M --- more
MSST --- less

Kelly Bryant hurt himself today on top of losing the defense and Kelly being under a new OC for not even a year I think that game will be closer than some expect.the rest outside of A&M I think will be close.👀

I’m indifferent. If we win 7-8 ball games this fall largely with Butch guys, I’m perfectly fine with that. Would show it wasn’t so much recruiting as it was development with Butch. Frankly I kind of hope this is true because that means the turnaround shouldn’t take that long. Would also mean recruiting rankings aren’t totally meaningless because Butch landed reasonably highly rated players and classes.
