My wife made waffles this morning out of cinnamon roll protein powder. Holy crap they’re good! 127 cals for 23 grams of protein šŸ˜

I need this in my life

Only click if you want to know. But don't eat anything before your procedure. Seriously, my wife is an OR nurse and people have lied to them and nearly died because of it. Don't eat anything. It's serious.

1 scoop cinnamon roll protein powder from my protein.com
1 egg or 3tbsp of egg whites
1 tsp baking powder
if too thick just add a little water.

*Fist bump*

I know we have seen some discussion on weight loss in the past especially with @nicksjuzunk. My own personal experience if anyone cares...I am not unhealthy per se. I work out 5 days a week for 1.5 to 2 hours but in March (27th I think) I weighed 197 in my yearly physical. I needed a change...heaviest I have ever been. Last week, 169. I want to drop 9 more pounds. The diet I have followed...Keto. I started on June 3rd and have lost 28 pounds in 2 months as of August 3rd.

Great work bro. Congratulations

Talking weight loss and such, the new gym is now officially open. Went by at lunch today to scope it out, the only negative (which I expected) was they don't have a power rack.

So squats will be on the smith machine or with dumbbells :(

Other than that I dig the layout, colors, and cleanliness of it. Plenty of cardio machines (including step climbers @Big Gucci Sosa) after a bit of research I found a solid total body 3 day split, will use the other 2 days to do abs/cardio.

Have lost about 10lbs already just from portion control, not doing keto or anything specific just trying to eat less per meal mostly.

At a planet fitness, I would recommend using Bulgarian split squats in the smith machine. They are brutally effective, and the Smith is actually a benefit by taking balance out of the equation

I’m just messin. I’ve been a PF member at two different locations.

You did seem to have some insider knowledge.

I mean I find the "judgement free" anti-bodybuilder slogan/commercials to just be a bit ironic. But I get it, I've spent a ton of time in gyms lifting and I don't like the specific type of gym goer they are trying to deter with their rules myself.

I'd much rather people just show up and get their workout in and leave. I don't need you flexing between sets in the mirror, checking your phone after every set while hogging two benches and 4 sets of DBs, or trying to tell every attractive girl who you see how to lift...

Nice, the workout I mentioned actually has them in the split already so I'll go that route instead of with DBs.

What would you suggest to replace BB squat, or would you just do it in the smith machine?

Yeah not a fan myself. The split does Bulgarian Splits Squats in the Workout B so I'll probably try it out in the smith machine. Move to DB squats if too much of a headache, or just find a machine that can replicate the full range of motion.

Just saw this, lol, so yep, like I said, that’s a good movement with that machine. If you ever get really optimistic, but a couple of black resistance bands and do your Bulgarian split squats with those attached to the Smith. One of the most intense lifts you can do

About 7 years ago, they ā€œlunk alarmedā€ me for finishing a set of tough presses with a grunt... nothing close to a scream. It was ridiculous. Great option for the casual gym goer though.
