Not quite. Some are just slow or you interviewed early in the process and they had a long list or had to wait to interview a person, or someone has to sign off on it and is on vacation. Lots of variables. Took a cpa firm just over 2 weeks to get back to me. You could also be like a 2nd choice and the first falls through. I would make 1 last attempt to contact in a week and then let it go after that. Persistence can pay off and really nothing bad comes from it. You may also gain valuable info as to why you weren't chosen or what they were looking for, even if it doesn't work out.
Appreciate the response! Thats a good point I didnt consider all the moving pieces, Ill probably follow up again next week like you say then drop it. Thanks!

Gov't Mule and My Morning Jacket are hard to beat live. But.....

Pearl Jam and 311 in the early 2000s is still the best shows I've ever been too...
Good to hear because I've seen 311 3 times in the past decade and always came away thinking they could have done more. Maybe just past their prime

I got to see Marcus King Band in Nashville at a record shop before they blew up, it was like seeing the Allman Brothers reincarnated in front of me. One of the best Ive ever seen.

While I was at UT it was '97/98 and I had a girl friend from Cincinnati I grew up with who also attended UT and her roommate was a girl named Jennifer who, and I quote said when 311 came to town she was going to sleep with (can't remember which guy), she did, and dropped out of school and moved west to live with him.

Also, add Railroad Earth to best live shows today.

Haven't seen them in years. But seen them several times at Mud Island and once in New Orleans. Back in the day they cut up.

So y'all know I've been fortunate enough to play and see tons of live shows over the past 6 years or so. I might be a little biased because these guys have been my favorite band for most of my life, but I can honestly say I've never seen a live act as good as one direction.
MAD respect for owning that. Not my style of music at all but it takes LARGE clackers to post that on VN.

Mute Math back when they were together is perhaps the best show I've been to. Each time they came through it was a uniquely different show.

It was a little surreal. But, she was drop dead gorgeous and a nice person, where girls that look like her might have "issues" and lacking in some departments, she was just a cool chick, from a small town in Tennessee.

Saw them in Market Square years ago. Great performance, but an odd group of teenager church kids turned it into a weird handraising thing like they were a revival. It was weird and nothing to do with the band members.
