They had kids go to Georgia, Cal, Texas Tech, Vandy, Nevada, Arkansas State, Colorado, Indiana, Marshall just off the top of my head. They would trash lower level teams.

DIII guys don’t even get scholarships. They would get run out of the stadium.

I actually like Malik after watching the last two seasons. The show does a good job of portraying him empathetically. So much pressure on him. My jaw dropped when spoke about getting mvp at elite 11. I'd probably be an arse too if I had to deal with Jason Brown's hostile atmosphere and terrible coaching.

I'm hoping he can reach his potential. Looks like some of the Mountain West writers think he'll be the starter after walking on, including usurping a senior. That right off the street 70 yard bomb in the second game was sick.

Brown is a bum but that Coach Sims at Garden City looked even worse. Brown is so in his head that Sims was out of control in that game

He at least seemed like a semi-ball coach though. Brown was nothing but a recruiter. I knew he was a fake when in his first season he told the team it didn't matter what plays they ran, because they had more talent than everyone else. He's like the anti-Leach, Patterson, etc.

Can someone please make the season show up faster so I can be either super excited or super disappointed and sit on the edge of my couch every single game!?!

So Jr’s buddy Odom wasn’t featured on the show but is on almost every episode. He spoke a few times on camera.

Guess he wasn’t dysfunctional enough for the camera

My favorite part was after Sims called out Brown he immediately whispered to the Lord that wasn’t right 😂.

Just noticed East Mississippi has won the national title the last 2 years, just after the show left. They had also won the 2 years prior. The curse of LCU?

That was definitely a top moment, but my favorite of all was when they interviewed Kailon's dad about how he and the mother met, Episode 3, 14:00 min in..."I'm an ass and titty man myself" 😭

Makes sense. The only D2 team I can think of is maybe like carson-newman or maybe Maryville is D2 or D3 and I don't think either has legit D1 prospects. Then again, they may have 4-5 year players, which would help them some over these dysfunctional JUCO mercenary squads.

Independence won the title their first season on the show...so no.
