Of the available starting pitchers only MadBum and Stroman make us significantly better IMO if we can’t get one of those two would rather see us focus on the bullpen.

The way AA plays things close to the vest I wouldn’t be surprised to see someone not discussed like Mike Leake acquired from Seattle at the last minute, Leake can really hit also.

They were both varying degrees of bad last year and have been given extended run as everyday starters. The pitchers have been all shuttled back and forth for spot starts and bullpen stints that they often weren’t used for.

Yeah, the shuffling the pitchers has really hurt all of them imo. Especially Wright and Wilson.

That was more a comment towards the staff and their handling/development of them. I agree, especially with Wright it’s been ridiculous
