Headed to Waco, San Antonio, and Austin next week if anyone wants to drop food suggestions.

La Condesa in Austin. It’s super nice Mexican. 5 star. If you’re not familiar with Spanish you may want to google some of the menu items, or just go with the carne asada. It’s like none you’ve ever had before. It’s a must on any future Austin visits for me.

PSU, UT and bama all have plain normal traditional unis and rarely stray from them. I like the plain look and if you look at the top ten winningest programs you see all of them have uniforms that rarely change and are synonymous with college football

I agree. Still, I do like black uniforms with the orange numbers/trim. Especially if they pull out a black helmet with orange facemask to complete the look.

Headed to Waco, San Antonio, and Austin next week if anyone wants to drop food suggestions.

Outside of Waco in west is a place called Czech stop that has kolaches and other stuff it's an experience. Whenever someone goes to Dallas they have to bring Czech stop back. Only good thing about waco. In Austin my favorite bbq is freedmen's on the west side of the texas campus. Also south Austin has Valentina's tex mex bbq that's amazing and has incredible breakfast tacos. Depending on what area of town I can give some other good places. Definitely find a place with good breakfast tacos. Also like someone else said, Austin has tacos of all kinds everywhere you go. There's a ton of good restaurants here.

At Vitek’s, they have what’s called a Gut Pack. It’s a cornucopia of Texas flavors.

At Torchy’s I recommend the Democrat, Republican, or Crossroads tacos.

Agree on the uniform talk. A little checkerboard on the trim was fun. Loved the Smoky Grays, but unfortunately, that is associated with Butch and we will never see them again.

At the same time, I don’t mind our clean traditional look too... stripe or no stripe... whatever. Black outline on the numbers was a favorite.

Even our regular uniform changes, the average fan barely notices and no one else in the county does

Love the Czech stop. Sucked when the town of West burned down. So yes, drive right through Waco as fast as possible. Also could take a small detour to Driftwood outside of Austin and hit The Salt Lick, that bbq is insane. There is also a famous Mexican place in downtown San Antonio that is amazing, Mi Tierra. I went there once and Huckabee and Bill Clinton both showed up.

man. LL was fast. got where he was going in a hurry, and was in a bad mood when he got there. good old days. as much grief was i remember giving those defenses (man i remember screaming for Chavis's head back then lol), they were really, really, really good.....speed everywhere.
