We didn’t have stripes on pants last year but I mainly just wanted to use the word tallywhacker in a sentence

I’m glad you did. My old man referred to me as a “tallywhacker” often when I was a young dumbass. Very underutilized these days. Lol

Oh so this was wrong? Tbh I dont remember

Isn't the reason why we have to use the white jersey pants with the orange stripes is because Nike already had them made up and we had to use them before we could change our color scheme? At least that's what I remember.

It’s less than two weeks until the start of fall camp and it was clear this week during Tuesday’s appearance at SEC Media Days that head coach Jeremy Pruitt likes this football team. Much has been said about Pruitt’s nearly 22 minute state of the union of his program, which included academic talk, but for fans of the Vols’ program, the biggest news from Pruitt was his open admission to mistakes from Year 1. It wasn’t just that he didn’t make the right hire at the OC position in Tyson Helton. It’s his admission that he wasn’t always focused on the right things, such as player relationships because of all the things he felt like he had to fix immediately. It was his admission that he did his defense no favors in calling plays because he couldn’t make the adjustments needed between series because he couldn’t review what the opponents were doing offensively. It was his admission that he didn’t manage things well with his team the last couple weeks of the season.

All of those admissions are a sign of growth on the job by Pruitt from Year 1 to Year 2.

Brian Neidermeyer is the only coach in the football program who got a raise and an extension. In fact, three assistant coaches (David Johnson, Chris Weinke, and Tracy Rocker) are all working in the final year of their contracts as they will expire in January of 2020. There was talk when Craig Fitzgerald elected to stay that he would likely get a raise after Maryland’s courting of him. Fitzgerald told Volquest in the piece Jesse Simonton did that he stayed because the job wasn’t done at Tennessee. That certainly appears to be the case, as he didn’t stay for more money and didn’t try to use Maryland as leverage unless the Terrapins’ offer simply wasn’t competitive.

In terms of the current Vols, Tennessee is healthy as they close out the summer work. Pruitt made mention of Trey Smith and his desire to play at SEC media days. Smith, privately, has checked all the boxes as the medical staff works to get a plan on how he will tackle things during the week to block on Saturdays. Smith has been in Frisco, Texas at the Duke Mayweather OL Masterminds symposium. Several NFL staffers and players like All-Pro Lane Johnson were in attendance, as Smith was one of the few college prospects invited. Players from Oregon, Alabama and Oklahoma were some of the schools featured with college invitees.

Pruitt said Jauan Jennings is fine. It will be interesting to see how they manage him in August. They will be cautious with his knee which is going to be a nagging issue all season. It will also be interesting to see where Baylon Buchanan is next month. Buchanan was limited with contact work in the spring. Another name many are excited to see in pads is freshman defensive tackle Elijah Simmons. The Pearl Cohn product has received rave reviews this summer, especially from veteran players. His weight is around 335, where Pruitt wants him to be, and Darrell Taylor told Volquest that Simmons is already the strongest dude on the team as a freshman who arrived at the end of May

I am a member of 247 an could not find hardly any with the warm by their name of the 84 WR they gave an offer to.
Not sure if anyone answered your question. From what I have seen the 247 doesn't have warm beside TN for hardly anyone at any position unless it is assumed they will commit to TN. From the news on here right now it appears Jalin Hyatt could commit soon. Jarrett could flip. James Frenchie was recently offered and could be visiting for the next picnic. Several have stated that WR is a position that has players emerge during their senior year. Hope that helps.

Not sure they really wanted an answer.
