I really thought Nigel Warrior was gonna flourish in that Minkah Fitzpatrick role. He’s not been bad—just not really impressive. Might be trying to reprogram the Butchness out of his brain.

Wrong. The responsibilities of the position include the technique of playing the position. SEC opponents will be much different from what he has faced previously. There will be a learning curve. Let's hope this young man can absorb quickly.

If Simmons could just be quality depth at NG behind Gooden, that would be very helpful. Getting strong enough to play on the lines in the SEC is usually the steepest part of the development process for freshmen, the assignment responsibilities of that position can't be too hard to pick up.
