AU mod throws shade at TN

There isn’t a bigger group of homers than the AU mods on Rivals and 247. There isn’t a recruit they aren’t getting or another team that isn’t cheating

It would be interesting to know what ACC coach it was and what he was talking about. Auburn fans have a lot more to worry about than UT recruiting. It's going to be a rough year for them.

Sounds to me like we are getting close to flipping some AU and ACC highly sought after recruits.

Not saying they are, but if coaches are insinuating to recruits that we are on the verge of serious NCAA violations without any proof or evidence, how is this not a serious NCAA violation?

I still can’t believe congratulating your high school alma mater on winning a state championship in a sport other than what you are coaching is deemed a violation, even if it considered minor.

These days every SEC team operates “in the margins”. The question is what can your school offer beyond some spending $$? This gives advantage to teams already making the playoffs. Added exposure is helping many of those teams recruit at an even higher level.

The NCAA doesn’t want to disrupt the apple cart, but they will still flex their muscles, so you’ll see them slap a “lesser” school on the wrist like Missouri for minor crap. You won’t see an Alabama or UGA get hit though. My worry is they will treat us as a lesser school.

There are ways around the rules. Saban knows all the tricks and technicalities. Pruitt has been around long enough to know some tricks of the trade himself I’m sure.

One thing I can be sure of is that a coaching staff with THREE 247 National Recruiter of the Year winners knows how to pull them in. Surely Pruitt got an education from Satan himself on how to ride the line to bring in the big'uns.

I am just happy other teams are starting to get back to hating and accusing us of cheating instead of talking nicely about us like you would of the recently deceased.

AU 247 mod Ron Sanders said he was told by an ACC coach that TN is ‘way over’ crossing the line with recruiting. His readers made a big deal about it, he deleted it, and is deleting any post associated with it. Other sites saw it, and those are being deleted as well. Did 247 realize how bad of a look that is or take it down for legal reasons?

Couple thoughts here, one, where did journalistic integrity go? That’s national enquirer stuff using he said/she said

Secondly, of ALL the schools to try to insinuate cheating, Auburn? Really?
This from the school who gave loaded with cash blank ATM cards and casino chips

Doing it right means pushing the limit on ridiculous rules to get the best people for your team. Being a pro means knowing how much you can push without crossing the line. If you are not pushing in this league tho, you are not doing your job.

A rather unspectacular Tennessee team comes to Auburn in 2018 and defeats the Plainsmen on their own home field. It was that Tennessee team's signature win, and they were coached by a former Bama player and coach newly minted as an HC. Yeah, I can see Barners mewling about Tennessee without thought for their own culpability.
