In some packages probably similar to how we used AJ Johnson. Not necessarily wildcat but in that he may have some packages and get maybe a few touches here and there.

Pruitt tweeted "Congratulations Robi Coker and Plainview High School on back to back State Championships! #2muchblue #PLV" on March 1. The tweet was deleted 37 minutes later, after a compliance official noted that it constituted an impermissible endorsement of a high school team and its coach.

The other football-related violations involved a non-coaching staffer driving family members of a recruit beyond the 30-mile radius of campus where contact is permitted and having three non-coaching staff members conduct an offseason conditioning session.

Tennessee officials said they initially arranged a car service for the recruit's family before realizing he had eight siblings who couldn't be left unattended while his mother visited campus. Tennessee instead had a non-coaching staffer drive the mother and siblings to and from their home, which was about 225 miles from Tennessee's campus. School officials said no recruiting conversations occurred during the December trip.

The NCAA took away four recruiting evaluation days from Tennessee for that violation.

Agree. It’s akin to some wanting Jauan Jennings or Evan Berry running the wildcat on goal line situations...when we had JOSH DOBBS.

I believe the difference here is crouch was a 5 star RB in high school. The other stuff sounds gimmicky for sure, but Crouch is a proven stud at RB. Putting in a package for him would be a brilliant idea, imo

He wasn’t a 5 star in anything in high school...final rankings thing. He was the best athlete on the field most games. It’s different when the defenders don’t bounce off of you. 4.7 reported speed. Great at linebacker. All-American RB at the FCS level...maybe.

Take the star rating out of the equation for a second.....what sense does it make to put Crouch at RB when you have Banks at RB full time and not to mention about the same size. No point in injuring him at RB.

It wasn’t really even a gimmick with AJ Johnson. We didn’t have a comparable RB. It’s replacing Ray Rice with Ray Lewis in this scenario...which would be scandalous.
