Someone made a good point a while back about how bizarre it was that we never even "accidentally" beat UF since they've had our number going back to the early 90s. Every time we beat them it was because of some miraculous performances or last-second heroics AND we always had a really good team on top of that (or because they had Zook as their coach, and hell, he still beat us once).
They have tried to give us the win multiple times and we just handed it right back to them. If the games unfolded exactly the same way but the guys across from ours were wearing Kentucky uniforms, some of those games would have been blowout wins for us.
Ever since that 45-3 win in 1990, every win has been somewhat odd, but the losses have been even stranger.
1992 UT win in the torrential downpour.
1995 FL win going away after UT was beating them in the first half. (The reversal of the 2016 game)
1998 UT overtime win thanks to the UT defense (Al Wilson) forcing multiple turnovers.
1999 UT loss and that horrible 4th and 3 play call.
2000 UT loss after Jabar Gaffney's drop in the end zone.
2001 UT win as Travis Stephens ran all over them.
2002 UT fumbled how many QB center exchanges in the rain?
2003 UT win vs Zook, but had a Hail Mary at the end of the first half greatly help them take the air out of the ball in the second half.
2004 UT as Wilhoit redeems himself with the field goal for the win.
2006 UT gets messed over with that hands to the face call in JT Mapu that took a touchdown off the board.
All the way up to the games you listed. Something crazy has basically happened every year or every other year at the least for the last 30 years.
