They had the bring one home special, ate shrimp scampi there and brought home cheese raviolis. Didn’t have the mac n cheese.

Have you, or anyone here had the lobster mac and cheese at Olive Garden? I remember VolinIllinois/Arkansas said he did.

Was the scampi served on pasta?

I haven't been in years, I remember they had beef ravioli that was lightly breaded and fried on the appetizer menu. It's was really good.

I don't know how they are now, but I did enjoy their salad that had Peperoncino peppers and the dressing was really good, and the breadsticks were good too.

I used to go to Red Lobster on occasion just for the garlic cheese biscuits. Iirc their scampi was like actual scampi, baked garlic shrimp in an au gratin dish.

A couple of months ago my wife and I went to a great seafood restaurant in Lakewood Ranch called the Lucky Pelican. She ordered the scampi (fish, I believe)....but the scampi had nutmeg and quite a bit of crushed red pepper. It was a little too spicy for her but I thought it was very interesting. Does scampi normally have nutmeg or something similar in it?

I guess to sell it at his restaurant. Who would order rigatoni and cheese?

I'm the wrong person to ask that, because I would. Haha. But why does it have to be rigatoni? Is that what it is at his restaurant? Lumachine, ballerine, Orecchiette or even penne all work better for me.

I wouldn't care, but it's kinda weird if I go to a restaurant and order Macaroni and cheese and that's not what it is.
