I actually like this a lot. It tells HB he is the qb of the future but also gives us a former 4 star qb for two years and should be ready to go if JG leaves after this year and HB isn't ready to go his freshman year.

I look at it as Pruitt and Chaney know a little about ball and enough to know what they are doing so I'mma just sit back with some water, expect it to be depth and just carry-on with my weekend. Bailey is gonna be guud.

Yeah I've heard about the burn-in issue. That's a bit scary. I remember that was an issue with plasmas too and they went the way of the dodo. BB also had the Vizio Quantum setup right next to the LGs and it held its own and is like $600 cheaper for the 65". Tempting price point especially since it was almost indistinguishable, although the LG did look a little better.

Are you in the market for a TV? If so, this website (www.rtings.com) will be perfect for you to gain a better and probably way more in-depth understanding of TV's than you'd want to know. Still, they do a very thorough check of a lot of the more used TV's during their in-house testing. I used them to find the Sony TV I have now. I wish I had the extra $400 at the time for the OLED.

I'm typically weary of Vizio TV's. I've always heard they use cheaper parts. But, I now hear the same thing about Samsung's so what do I know?

FWIW, I have the LG OLED. It was worth every penny, especially when viewing 4K channels on DirecTV. The picture is spectacular.

Just got back from Best Buy and saw that they have the 55" LG OLED for $999.99. Probably last year's model but still an insane deal. I'm always blown away by the picture quality of the OLEDs every time I walk past them.
That TV is amazing

Hey mid-State folks.

It looks like I’ll be speaking at City on a Hill Church beneath The Cookery Restaurant tomorrow at 3:00. Last chance to catch me in Tennessee if you’re interested. Small cozy atmosphere there

Let us know if you make it back to the Carolinas.

I’m itching for a knife fight

The future wife keeps telling me we don't need a new TV because my Sony is still great. She gon' learn..........and possibly me, too.

Set the tone early, tell her you are in charge of TV purchases - then duck!

Mine loves a great TV so we had no issues buying this one. We had a Sony that we moved to the bedroom. So it worked out well.

I'd take him in heartbeat. I think he's a lot better transfer QB than Chryst. He's still young too and has some upside.
I mean, it seems like the season is shot if JG goes down, and if he comes here, that looks really bad on Shrout and though Mauer is a true freshman, it wouldn’t bode well for him either.

You would think they want to build with their own guys even if it means taking some lumps, but football is a “produce now” game
