That Paul George to the clippers along with kawhi to the clippers is wild.
Free agency has been interesting this year. Gonna be hard to pick a favorite next year. Gonna be so many teams with legit chances to win. Nuggets, jazz, Portland, Houston, clippers, Lakers and maybe even spurs and mavs in the west. Nets, bucks, Pacers, Sixers, celtics, heat in the east. But the clear favorites to win it all have to be the Magic.

I don't believe the original 3 were overrated, people just can no longer appreciate what happened considering the time.
There's no limit on special effects now, no one gets amazed by them anymore. But A New Hope came out in 1977.

The movie was a lot closer to the black and white t.v. age than it is to whatever's hitting theaters this year.
The accomplishment was nothing short of amazing at the time.

The original three were great. Most of the ones made since those have been bad. I liked Rogue One though.

Jazz are low key a dark horse in the west.

I think rockets are done unless they find a way to move Paul for something.

I agree on the jazz. Would put the nuggets in that category too. Very good young roster with continuity. I also forgot to mention the warriors and the pelicans. Haha. Rockets will still be very good but that roster and organization are just weird.

Is it me or has anyone else noticed how every recruit that attended the opening had tweeted out some fluffery thanking the opening for such an incredible amazing outstanding experience?

Feels like the hosts said “hey guys tweet out ass kissery before we update our rankings next *wink-*”

Or maybe they had a great experience and are showing their appreciation. I would imagine it's a pretty great time for them. Common courtesy seems much more likely than some conspiracy to thank an event for hosting.

For the first time in a while there is no clear cut team to bet on winning it. We may actually have parity in the NBA for the first time in a while.

Yeah well I suppose that’s possible but if you don’t mind I’d prefer to live in my cynical world where everything is done because of ulterior motives and backhanded deals. Back to Pleasantville you go, sir.

There are already ulterior motives with kids being dinged for not going to certain camps, get bumps/drops for committing to X school, etc. The recruiting business is shady as hell, I dont know why that would be any different. That's they way things usually work tbh.

The West is DEEP

Lakers
Clippers
Jazz
Nuggets
Blazers
Rockets
Warriors

Then you have those interesting teams like the Pelicans, Suns, Kings, Mavs. Gonna be a fun year
