2020 Presidential Race

If that's an American flag with NBC plastered all over it I must be an astronaut.
That’s an American flag, on a huge monitor, with the sponsor of the debate beneath it. Aren’t you the clown who posted the article claiming Harris was lying in her back and forth with Biden? No one is mistaking you for an astronaut.

My elementary school 1st - 5th was within walking distance. Bussing in Nashville started the year I entered 6th grade. I was on the bus about 40 minutes each way my 6th grade year. Start and end times had to be adjusted citywide because of the shortage of busses. 7th, 8th, and 9th grades I was bussed (zoned) to schools that were closer but certainly not walking distance. (5+ miles). 10th grade I was back to the nearest high school and finished there.

I don't understand how you can ride/sit in a bus for 40 minutes each way w/no seat belt. I know that they have no seat belts but 40 minute ride is way too long. I'm glad you didn't have a speed demon for a school bus driver.

Me and my brother rode the bus everyday until we were in our Junior year of HS. Probably a total of around two hours every morning and evening. We were always the first one on and the last one off as our dad was the driver. The later buses in the mid to late 90's were pretty comfortable and I know its hard for people to understand but the reason they don't have seat belts is for safety.

I rode my bike to school when I was in elementary school growing up. As I got older, I drove a car when I was in high school. The only time I rode a buss was when I went downtown to the city library. Were your schools so far away from your house that was the case in you riding those buses?
I walked to and from high school. It was about a quarter mile down the street. I walked home from Junior High. It was about a mile away.

Gabbard on Dem Debate: Lack of Minutes, Treatment by MSNBC Moderators ‘Shows a Clear Bias in Place’

Thursday on Fox News Channel’s “Tucker Carlson Tonight,” Rep. Tulsi Gabbard (D-HI), a candidate for the 2020 Democratic presidential nomination, acknowledged there was a bias she was up against from the moderators in the debate she participated in on MSNBC a night earlier.

“It shows there is a clear bias in place,” Gabbard said. “I made the most of every minute that I had. I wish I had more time to address these important issues.”

The Hawaii Democrat said it was a false choice to say not using military force or sanctions was akin to isolationism, meaning the United States was not “engaged” in the world.

Gabbard on Dem Debate: Lack of Minutes, Treatment by MSNBC Moderators 'Shows a Clear Bias in Place' | Breitbart
According to the latest Democratic Primary poll from Real Clear Politics, Tulsi Gabbard is at 0%. The purpose of a debate involving 10 candidates was not to be equitable with the time allotted... that is virtually impossible. The candidates who are leading in the polls were given more time and Gabbard knew that would be the case going in. So, Breitbart is right... but for the wrong reason. There was a bias in place and it favored the candidates who were polling higher. The Republican Primary debates in 2015 were the same way.

MSNBC Anchor: Dem Healthcare for Illegal Immigrants ‘Christmas’ for Trump

MSNBC host Hallie Jackson said that the Democratic promise to give healthcare to illegal immigrants was like "Christmas" for the Trump campaign.

In a conversation with Aaron Blake, a Washington Post political reporter, the pair discussed the political implications of pledging to provide healthcare for all illegal immigrants.

"I think it was remarkable what we saw as far as the rhetoric, especially on immigration," Blake said. He noted that all the Democratic candidates raised their hands when asked whose healthcare plans would cover illegal immigrants.

"Can I show you, I'm texting with Trump campaign sources. Christmas. Compared to Christmas. Gleeful," Jackson said.

"They love it," Blake agreed.

...or maybe he just said so because he wants to have a chance at winning Michigan and Pennsylvania again?
If he moves forward with this I won't have any problem criticizing him over it, government has no business in this.

But I assume you libs agree with and will praise the President over this right?

That was predictable... Trump understands that he has a lot of minimum wage working voters in his base, who would not mind this at all.

I can see it happening in certain areas. I’m not sure flipping burgers or screwing up orders at McDonald’s will be one of them.
