Well you obviously think Barnes is a great coach and Whites had more tourney success. I’m saying Mike White is a good coach and I get why Blackshear would want to stay closer to home and play for UF with White

James was a great get, Walker was too, but he wont Be on the team this year. You just hope that the success we had on the court would help with guys like blackshear. Guess it doesn’t t

Yes Tennessee not having a good 2020 recruiting class precludes them from having a chance at a national title in 2035 🙄🙄🙄

They’re not winning a national title in the next few years anyways. You’re like 21 you got plenty of time.

I would feel pretty good if I was a gator fan. You have a young, successful coach who wants to be there.

Four straight 20 wins seasons, three straight tourneys. Does need to show he can win a conference title though. This should be his best team.

Conveniently, you've left this a little subjective by using the word "few", but tell me what precludes this from happening in the next few years. If our 2020 class includes Walker, Johnson, Springer, and Hall, and you combine them with Plavsic, Burns, possibly James, and a group of complimentary role players, what prevents that group from being in the mix?

And which coach is going to come in and win us a national title?

Only a handful of elite coaches want to go to a program that puts them in the best position to win.

These up & comers aren’t going to magically make us an elite program either.

I’m just simply stating Barnes isn’t going to win Tennessee a national title. I don’t know if anyone can or there is someone that will. Just saying right now Barnes won’t win ya a title. Which for Tennessee is fine, that’s not my expectation for the program anyways.

There we go. Just wanted to hear you say it instead of the neutered version you presented. I can't remember you expressing that opinion 6 months ago. It seems like the loss to Purdue and the butthurt you suffered over the UCLA ordeal have advanced that opinion, or at the very least, publicized it.

Exactly.

I can’t explain why but I have a really good feeling that Kim English could be something special as a coach and could be our next coach in a few years
