This isn't sounding good and will be a huge blow to our basketball team next year. I think we will be fortunate to make the tourney next year without Blackshear and may be in for a rude awakening come this season. We had a hard time finding production outside our starters last year and now that 4 of them are gone, I don't see how we are consistently going to find a way to score enough points.

Russ Wood is solid, now you’ve got national guys saying it’s Florida and Tennessee sited saying Florida is feeling more and more confident...not sure why I would try to spin that.

I'd agree if we miss on KB, Plavsic doesn't get cleared and 4 strikes outs Burns. If any 2 are false we'll be fine.

Once again...haven’t read anywhere that RUSS WOOD said it...just alleged friends.

Yet you did. National guys picked us 13th two seasons ago. Like how Barnes SPUN IT?

Huge blow? Nah. He was one guy. Might have made the difference in the NIT vs NCAA, but there's no way he would have offset the losses of Bone, Admiral, Schofield and Alexander. I see us as a 16-18 win team. Just develop the talent we have and recruit like mad. Good luck to him.

With him we "might" make the NCAA, but the fact is that he's one guy. He's not going to replace what we lost in Admiral, Grant, Bone and Alexander. He's not the missing piece on a sweet 16 team. Without him, I see us 16-18 wins. With him...maybe 20-21. Just not the end of the world if he doesn't come to UT. JMO.

Sisk shared that with UK board and obviously wasn’t supposed to, because Russ hasn’t said anything on UF board at all or on Twitter...I don’t owe either of the 2 guys anything but obviously Sisk wasn’t supposed to share and so I didn’t want it all getting out there that he had and there being bad blood between them.

Did you see it (the Sisk post) on the UK board? How did you come across that info, yourself? Just curious. I was under the impression you weren't a Rivals member.

Blackshear was gonna be a huge piece for us.

I never thought we'd get him but I definitely hoped we would.

With Plavsic we might sneak into the tourney but without him or Blackshear we're gonna be in for a long season.

Yeah, but unless burns is the second coming of Hakeem olujawon that win total could easily be flipped. Makes the 2020 class huge. If we don’t finish like projected with it, the university of Tennessee May never win a college basketball championship.
