Heard Blackshear’s plane was touching down here in Knoxville a few minutes ago.

Not breaking news or anything but just thought I would point out that Blackshear does not follow any of the Kentucky guys on his Instagram. However he does follow Lamonte Turner, and some of our other guys followed him recently too. Could be nothing but just wanted to point that out. Hoping we get Blackshear boys 🤞🏼

Regardless how this ends up, I have gotten a kick out of reading the UK forums. They can't fathom why any star player would want to come and play for Tennessee! I think it eats them up inside because they know deep down they pay their players, and out of all coaches, they can't accuse Rick Barnes of paying for a recruit. It just doesn't make sense to them lol!

Here's one I enjoyed! They are already coming up with excuses!

"He could have stayed at Va Tech to be "The Guy" for a mediocre team on the fringes of college basketball -- that's Tennessee. Hell, Va Tech was a BETTER team last year than Tennessee will be this year. Or he could reunite with his coach Buzz Williams in Texas A&M and have the same experience.

Let's face it -- Either he will come to Kentucky or he was scared off by the idea of Kentucky and competing with a team of studs."

Talked to by far to the best source I have on the matter tonight and was told no one knows what Blackshear is going to do as of Friday evening around 9:30. Tennessee is very much in this thing, no doubt about that, obviously Kentucky is as well. Interestingly was told tonight that going back to Va. Tech isn’t off the table which I haven’t heard before. Anyway, know that’s not a lot but what I have late Friday evening.
