near Rockwood, moving east at 40 mph.

HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and penny size hail.

* At 1154 PM EDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line
extending from near Hollyhill to near Huntsville to 9 miles
northwest of Wartburg, moving east at 40 mph.

HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and penny size hail.

IMPACT...Expect damage to roofs, siding, and trees.

* At 518 PM EDT, a severe thunderstorm capable of producing a tornado
was located 7 miles north of Knoxville, moving southeast at 30 mph.

HAZARD...Tornado and quarter size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated rotation.

IMPACT...Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without
shelter. Mobile homes will be damaged or destroyed.
Damage to roofs, windows, and vehicles will occur. Tree
damage is likely.

* This tornadic thunderstorm will remain over mainly rural areas of
northeastern Knox County, including the following locations...
Maloneyville, House Mountain State Park, Mascot, Halls, Kimberlin
Heights and Seymour.

Center, Bird Crossing, Fairgarden, Kimberlin Heights, McMahan,
Chestnut Hill, Harrisburg, Piedmont, Kodak and Seymour.

was located near Sneedville, moving east at 45 mph.

IMPACT...Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without
shelter. Mobile homes will be damaged or destroyed.
Damage to roofs, windows, and vehicles will occur. Tree
damage is likely.

* This dangerous storm will be near...
Rogersville around 545 PM EDT.
Surgoinsville around 555 PM EDT.

Other locations impacted by this tornadic thunderstorm include
Kepler, Baileyton, Jearoldstown and Fall Branch.

was located 8 miles southwest of Crossville, moving southeast at 15
mph.

HAZARD...Tornado.

SOURCE...Radar indicated rotation.

IMPACT...Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without
shelter. Mobile homes will be damaged or destroyed.
Damage to roofs, windows, and vehicles will occur. Tree
damage is likely.

* This tornadic thunderstorm will remain over mainly rural areas of
southern Cumberland and eastern White Counties, including the
following locations... Lake Tansi and Indian Rock Lake.
 
I'm shocked there hasn't been a watch issued with all the warnings we've had thus far.

Clearly there's enough instability in the atmosphere for rotation/tornadoes.

Even though there’s been several bad storms, it’s still been isolated. No watch has or will be issued because of how isolated these storms are. Plus, the threat is winding down.
