And there you go. Another reason it’ll be 6 wins.
The breaking news JJ15 injury.

We don’t have the depth to win a lot of games this fall. Injuries can cripple a team like ours. If he requires surgery it’s doubtful he’s 100% by kickoff.
opinions are "i think pink is a good color for you". "i think JJ being injured is bad for the outlook of the team this year".

what you did here is draw conclusions. you concluded "this will be another reason it'll be 6 wins" you concluded "it's doubtful he's 100% by kick off".

those aren't opinions, just ftr.

Reading through these predictions, "you people" seem to be following a different tack this year and lowballing expectations. Never a bad idea but I think probably too low. You'll have a decided talent advantage against all but three teams on the schedule. You have a full roster, an SEC quality staff, and they've had two offseasons to get S&C up to par. Two new coordinators will mean some fine tuning is due, but given what teams like UK, VU, MSU have lost, and no P5 OOC games, I'd agree with the one above, 8 or 9 wins is a reasonable projection.

It will be an 8-4 type season. I don’t see us winning 10 or losing 6. I will be disappointed, but not worried, with 7-5.

Qualifying every statement with “I think” would make for some pretty awful reading here. I doubt you hold every member, or even yourself, to the same standard.

Well it could get gangrenous.

What are the other reasons other than JJ having his leg cut off at the hip for only winning 6 games?

Overall quality depth, OL experience, DL experience and talent level. These are major concerns in the SEC grinder. Question marks in the trenches are not good here.

Some areas may have improved since last year but where are they relative to our opponents?

Exactly. Last two times the Vols took the field we were embarrassed. By Vandy and Mizzou no less. We have to start competing in every game before we turn our nose up to a bowl game

Hell, pretty much all of our losses last year were "blowouts", save for Carolina. We might have watched the games, thinking WVU (until the 4th quarter), UF (6 turnovers), and UGA (flukey, + see WVU) were hard-fought and closer than the scoreboard indicated. But outsiders, recruits, and history books only note 26 (3x), 37, 33, and 25-point losses.

I shared an opinion is all. On a forum opinions should always be assumed unless otherwise stated.

I obviously hope he’s 100% in July but state run media will always lean to “all is well”.
Exactly. My original post was you made it up. I.e. It's yer opinion. You said I believed everything that's tweeted and gave yer reasons. I gave my opinion on yer reasons and my own reasoning. We debated. Imo I won. Haha.
