Florida is out for many reasons and basically all of the south. Wife is from AZ so she’s sensitive AF to humidity. Also needs mountains. She’s picky.

Asheville, brother. Lower humidity here and right in the mountains. Even going to Nashville this weekend reminded me why I could never go back. I'm sensitive to humidity too and can't take that area anymore. Just constant sweating...it's terrible.

Lots of mouthfeel here too

Asheville is in the Mountains, but, still gets humidity. Plenty of it.

Asheville is beautiful. Have you gotten your hands on any Bateman’s Sourwood Honey? It’s local to you, very rare, and hard to find.

did you do a cruise to all those places? Wife wants to do a 1 yr anniversary to the D.R....now I'm trying to find any other place to go. Virgin Islands might be a good place. Maybe a little Nassau and this Trunk Bay. You have shown me the light.
I went to ST. Lucia in March and just got ba k from Jamaica on Friday. I always stay with Sandals. Your wife will enjoy it.

And the tolls. But tbf they have much higher concentrations. Hard to compare a road around philly, ny, boston to one in wyoming or new mexico.

For as much as people up there pay in taxes, you would think their roads would be in good shape but the roads in Massachusetts are easily the worst I've ever experienced. The roads in Tennessee just blow them away.

PMI is needed unless 20% is put down, also in lieu of PMI on conventional loans with less than 20% down results in higher interest rate.

"PMI is arranged by the lender and provided by private insurance companies. PMI is usually required when you have a conventional loan and make a down payment of less than 20 percent of the home’s purchase price. If you’re refinancing with a conventional loan and your equity is less than 20 percent of the value of your home, PMI is also usually required."
PMI is about the biggest racket there is. It only protects the mortgage company and you have to pay for it.

Mountains schmounschmins. Beach life and breeze is one of the most soothing things out there. No shoes, you can punch a crab in the face, most Gator fans think you're packing when you wear the T so they dont say a word, very few bears, NO SNOW

Jesus just took a page out of your calendar for this blasphemy.

We left Miami 4 pm Saturday on the Carnival Conquest, and we had one day at sea then stopped at Grand Turk, left there and went to San Juan, then St Thomas(we ferried over to St John on our own) then Amber Cove in the D.R., then another day at sea, then disembarked Saturday around 10:30

St John in particular is a spectacular, laid back and uncrowded place..

I highly recommend that particular cruise, it was our first, but it was a blast. I researched every port before we left to see exactly what I wanted to do. We didn't pay for any Carnival excursions, we either went on our own or used recommended local providers and saved a buttload of money.

Best part is once you get on that member status cruises become super cheap.

We spend a couple of weeks a year at Lake Lure and make it down to Asheville frequently. We love it. It's starting to get a little Portlanida-ish ha, but it's nice.

No doubt. I just say "lower humidity". If you want to feel serious humidity, just go to Middle TN, SC, obviously FL or TX. Asheville is no Southern Cal humidity wise, but man is it preferable to the rest of the South.

Seeking a main room tv recommendations

Want something bad ass to watch this new era in Vols football - our march back to respectability then greatness

I've watched the most recent era through the bottom of a bourbon glass. I wouldn't rush into a huge expenditure until Pruitt beats Vandy first, or you might be buying a 4D so your wife can watch the British Baking Show.
