So my roommate has been watching a lot more baseball with me the past year or so, but doesn’t watch almost every night like me. Anyways, he likes Nick Markakis. For some reason, Markakis does amazing when he watches. When he watched Opening Day last year with me, I ragged on Markakis and talked about how he was so average and blah blah blah. And of course he hit his game winner. And ever since, I don’t know how, Markakis is awesome when he watches baseball with me. It’s uncanny.

So for the past two weeks he’s been gone for work, and he came back this week. He watched with me yesterday and he’s watching tonight and of course Markakis has five hits and five RBI’s.
