I have a question in all seriousness, were u as negative about the future of ur band and music as u are on here or is that just a Vol thing?Back home near Jacksonville in school. Idk wtf im doing with my life lmao
Contemporary appeals to the emotions. Hymns appeal to the mind. People are different in which way gets to their heart. But the vast majority of contemporary is really juvenile. Then occasionally a song like "He Is" by Chris Tomlin will be realeased. Still I prefer hymns being sung by an entire congregation. That appeals to my mind and emotions and gets to my heart to worship. It really is. If you look at contemporary worship songs now and then look through a book of hymns, the differences are...noticeable. To say the least. Sounding like they were written by children is an excellent description.
Has Youtube purged a bunch of videos?
The other day I tried to find some old early 2000s Antonio Bryant highlights (there used to be a ton you YT where he routinely abused Fred Smoot of the Redskins) and found nothing. And I just tried searching for Larry Allen highlights and there was only two - one being his HOF induction speech.
I should clarify. I meant Bible reading, doctrinally sound Christians. Scripturally based theology not feelings theology.

I don't disagree with the sentiment, but the whole "Bible reading, doctrinally sound" thing must have been real tough for most of Christian history where the majority of people didn't own a Bible and couldn't read it if they did.
