2020 Presidential Race

In a much more alarming rate than all the rest. And I'm not exonerating others including Bush.
Did both Bush and Obama double the debt from the time each respectively took office? I can't remember.

You know how I know so much of this board is hypocritical, and I suspect I will be flamed for this, they criticized Obama for deficits and golfing. Now look where we are at. It’s worse! Not that I give a rats ass about the golfing. I didn’t have a problem when Obama did it.
Democrat held HOR. They control the budget.

Nancy?

disgusting...........but that's just me. Carry on world but it doesn't mean I have to like it.

Can you imagine Bootijudge taking his husband and holding hands to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia or to Russia to engage to in important debates with Putin? How about North Korea taking the US seriously? You're not alone. Only leftists.....smh!

You can really only compare if you look at rate of increase in deficit spending. It started with Reagan (he was the worst) and has been worse under every republican administration than and democratic administration. Go figure.
You are generally using the Republican after the Democrat as the example to say they are worse. If you flip it ita also a slanted argument. But your argument doesnt paint the whole picture

Lulz...........Mayor Pete would have to leave his pitcher/catcher @ home in the kitchen washing dishes.

America would be the laughing stock of the world if his wife/husband showed up on those types of trips.

It is also how the MSM runs protection for their side. Sort of what DC was saying when he mentioned how John Kerry’s flip-flopping was branded as “nuance”.

I vividly remember the Kerry flip flopping. I was into my 30's by now. Up to that point I had never considered ever voting for a Republican candidate. Kerry made me realize the democratic party was about lies and deception and gave me a chance to consider I need to give my political positions a clean slate to reexamine then. He played to his audiences in real time.

Now many in the democratic party are making money off making people victims, including black politicians and media, or are just down right foolish. There are still a few good ones left in that party but it becomes more and more sparce as it's being run amok by the radical agenda.

I have some real problems with the categories. Like "Veterans Benefits" being included in discretionary spending, and Social Security even being included as a category. SS funds, SS taxes paid in, and SS benefits should be in a completely different category and never mingled with general revenues and expenses. Same with MediCare - just like you see in withholding on your wage and income statements. Regardless of all other mumbo jumbo, mandatory spending is well over 50% of total spending, and that in itself should be an eyeopener ... even worse when you don't include interest on the federal debt (like it's not a real obligation). So at this point the stuff that congress initiated over the years ... the Pandora's boxes, the cans of worms, etc are costing us almost $2.5 T per year and escalating. Time to tell congress they have to work in reverse and undo a bunch of the past crap ... on second though, they'd just screw that up, too. One thing for damn sure, we need an honest organization - not the CBO (the congressional marketing and other fairy tales branch) - scoring what legislation is going to cost.

I'd settle for just being able to walk in a grocery and buy stuff grown in the US instead of swapping stuff out with Mexico. Yeah, Mexico does have different growing seasons than we do, but the year round stock of Mexican fruits and veggies is absurd. And check out things like jelly ... the label no longer says "grown in the US" it's now "grown in N America" like we are too stupid to realize where the dividing line between N and S America lies ... and that N America includes a lot more real estate than just the US.

Clinton was a crook cooking the books. Let's not forget the loans for the indigent or otherwise financially unsound; that was solid work by Clinton and his cronies.

Admittedly I'm not familiar with how he cooked the books. I know some of his domestic policies ended up hurting later but by all accounts he seemed to manage the deficit. It was a topic he was proud of.

Reagan had to rebuild a military that Carter trashed. Reagan also outspent the Soviet Union militarily ... largely using our economic strength to ruin the largest of your socialist paradises. You can do it, Luther ... if you want an omelette, you gotta _____ some eggs.

Sounds like you are just making excuses for why the politicians you personally like vastly increased our debt. Trump supporters are doing it right now.

As long as both sides keep doing that, the can will continue to be kicked down the road.

1) is he opposed to it now? He was in favor pre running
2) is he now opposed to them?
3) He has been a huge supporter of homosexual equality and continues to suppose their choice to be gay.
4) I think you confused NATO with the UN at some point. He never has been a US in the UN fan.
1) He has given many inconsistent statements on torture. It's hard to know exactly where he stands now. During the campaign, he was all for it... but that seems to shift depending on who he is talking to.

2) During the campaign, he was strongly opposed to cuts to Medicare and Medicaid but that has now changed.

3) You are dead wrong. Trump was against gay marriage up until about 10 years ago, but you can say the same thing about most politicians. Now, your comment that Trump has been a "huge supporter of homosexual equality" is highly questionable considering the transgender military ban.

4) No, I was talking about NATO, who Trump has faulted for being "obsolete" but now says that those countries are living up to their obligations, even though nothing has changed.
