Man, it was a pretty thorough rundown, going from like, Bay-area stuff of the early 90's, to the glory days of early 2000's, to kind of an emo-ification of the scene in the late 00's/early 10's, to where we are now, with basically all the face-tatted soundcloud rappers filling the void.

But yeah, my junts were like, Newfound Glory, Sum 41, Motion City Soundtrack, the Matches, Blink/Boxcar Racer, and then like emo stuff like Taking Back Sunday, My Chem, Coheed, Thursday, Matchbook Romance, allll the embarrassing stuff.

I always liked the heavier stuff..still do. Used to be pretty active in the local hardcore scene

i just thought it was all Limp Bizkit's fault.

Yeah, I went to a few shows (Underoath, Norma Jean, Maylene-- that was all one show, Alexisonfire..) but I never really got into the deep cuts. The Used and Glassjaw were probably the hardest bands I really got into.

I was deep into pop-punk, mall-punk, skate-punk, and then the emo iterations that spun off. I still wear out a spotify playlist of it all.

The transfer portal will lose its allure. Most of these kids aren't going to get a better spot and only around 20% of P5 transfers are finding a P5 spot. Players think it's a great way to explore their options, and schools have been letting them. But if schools start pulling scholarships behind players, the portal will create a lot of players with no scholarship and nowhere to go.

So what becomes of our transfer portal guys who, to my knowledge, haven’t found spots.

Or have they all? Did Latrell Williams go anywhere. Who else is in?

Yeah, their discography is massive now. Honestly, they were never the same after like 2008, Good Apollo Vol2. That's when Claudio started singing in a lower voice, and Mic and Josh dropped from the band. I burned holes in my CD's of SSTB, IKSOSE, and GAVol1.
I like their newer stuff. Josh has been back in the band for a while now (got cleaned up)

Heads up guys. Somethings about to go down
Hit the deck boy!

Yeah, I know they tried with Mic Todd, too. Dude couldn't get clean, wound up making a bomb threat at Walgreens because they wouldn't give him painkillers. Sucks because he was sooooo good on bass.

Yeah that was pathetic. Their new bassist is a beast though. Went to a show during his first tour. Dude was killing it. Had to stand 5 ft from the mic because has singing every song.
