Very much. I want us to hire Gruden when he gets fired from the Raiders in 2 years.
That one, I am afraid is out of the realms of possibility. Not that he gets fired as the Raiders' coach. I hope to heck he does. He will not be a coach here, though. We dodged that bullet, thankfully.

Wilder was game early on, it's one reason he took that Fury fight. Another big time British champion that had big time fan appeal. Anthony Joshua's camp wanted to wait around until the money was really big and unfortunately for them even as a HW champ if you're not fighting top competition you're just padding the record not increasing purses really.
Wilder had a shot to sign with Eddie Hearn and DAZN earlier in the year with 2 Joshua fights and something like 50 million guaranteed. Turned it down with hopes of building the fight and making more.

Glad Wilder/Fury camps freaked and will now fight spring of 2020.

Is there anyone on our radar that may be committing this month?
BGS already said it, but Haynes King is the main one that comes to mind. It's not official that he'll be committing, but word is (from the VQ guys and others) that he likely wants to go ahead and commit after he finishes up his visits.

Meant to post this yesterday but... as a Dodgers fan, on behalf of the team I just wanted to say to all you Braves fans: you're welcome.

From his recent comments, Pruitt is definitely more excited about this group of guys from the 2019 class. I expect a lot of the freshmen to play heavy minutes this year.

As for recruiting this year, He obviously wants to be able to recruit to that level every year. We are being very selective on who we take. There have been a few misses but I think we are still in it with very high profile recruits. We still need to continue to build depth on the Oline & Dlines and I think we will.

Building depth is nice, but along both lines we simply need starters right now., tbh. We have 0 proven bodies for 2020. Better go get some (yes I know we have some nice incoming Freshman, but nobody is proven atm. And DL needs A LOT of new young blood).

The Butch years jaded me toward even worrying about depth, when your starters aren't even up to task. During the 2017 class many excused it as "a class for depth" and it turned out we didn't even have starters up to the task first and foremost. Players leave for the nfl early, transfer, don't pan out. Gotta be recruiting starters all the time, never backups...another reason to grab King if we can.

Respectfully, we have given out more offers this cycle than any P5 program except maybe Nebraska. Maybe most are noncommitable and there is some stealth selectivity going on behind the scenes?
