2016 Outback Bowl highlights

Absurd that we brought everyone back from this team and went 8-4. Even more absurd that we beat UF and UGA and still went 8-4.

The.best game Dobbs and Hurd ever had together.i understood hurds frustration with butch after this game because Hurd was putting up ridiculous numbers that game and the offense was running very smooth.we had no issues that game and everyone was having fun.

He's a weird case. Athletic as all get out, and seems to be bought in. I mean, any receiver who willingly comes in when the staff needs a blocking wide receiver, yet never complains, is a team player. Idk what is keeping him from getting looks in the passing game, but I'd personally like to see him have a decent season as well. Problem is, we're so top heavy at receiver and I think this year we're going to be more run focused than last year.

I am guessing Chaney will have JG getting the ball out quick. Defenses won't be able to stack up and stop the run. One critique of JG was he didn't have a lot yds per game. Chaney fixes that and the RB's are gonna eat as a result.

Remember when NW fans were on here saying their DE Lowry was better than Barnett?

Every time I get back to Tennessee, I am reminded of the existence of chiggers. Little monsters are eating me up

Buy a small can of WD-40. Spray around your ankles and they won’t cross that barrier.

Take Zyrtec, or one of the other anti-histamines for the itching. If you get rollon deodorant/anti-perspirant and roll directly over the bites. Immediately stos the itching.

Oh and the bumps are just bites the chiggers don’t burrow in, despite the myth.

Is it safe to assume that Tyler Byrd, Brandon Johnson, Maleik Gray, JaQuan Blakely and some other guys aren't trying to transfer?

Seems like if anyone else was going to go, we'da heard about it by now right?

Aren’t we down to the number we need to be at now? So unless they just didn’t want to stay there would be no reason to push them out?

Seed ticks are often confused with chiggars. Seed ticks will definitely burry up in you.

Blakely and Gray would be the only two I'd be worried about outta those four. Think Byrd's been here long enough he's more likely to grad transfer if he has a year left rather than leave to sit out. Think Johnson could see more action this year and will be a potential starter next season.

Or Ruiz has a good chin. I think that was his first time being knocked down. With that said, Wilder is a brawler and I dont know how he would fair against a boxer per se.

I've seen a lot of AJ's fights, he doesn't have the same sort of power that a traditional HW usually does. Most his KOs are TKOs from a flurry of punches. Wilder has one punch power that extends into the late rounds, he was having a tough match with Fury and then saved the draw by sitting him down in the 12th round...somehow Fury got up, still not sure how.

Byrd and Johnson are both seniors. This is their last year of eligibility as far as I know.

Yeah you're right. Both have played in every game, I guess each is okay with their roles. Starting on special teams and occasionally seeing offensive action. Would love to see Byrd emerge as a return specialist I think both stayed just to see what happens with Chaney as OC too, it should open up the passing game and maybe they flourish?
