True that but what is better in terms of indoor cardio? I'm limited in AZ. It's hot as F for 5 months.
Yes, you can cut 5lbs of fat and put on 5lbs of muscle in 3 months.Agreed re BMI and the trainer I’m working with said the same, but what’s the best assessment? Before I started working out, they did a “body composition analyzer”. We built my next three months based off of that. According to this machine, I’m 43 lbs fat. Pretty gross. Goal is to move 5lbs from fat to muscle by end of three months. That seem right?
I'm 6'3". 2010 had me in the best shape since college. I'd dropped 25 lbs from 250 to 225. I'd been lifting three days a week and had increased my muscle mass where it had never been before. Went from 40 waist to 36. My BMI would have me as seriously overweight. Only way I could have gotten my weight down would have been to lost muscle. BMI is worthless.Been reading the last few pages and gotta comment on that BMI Bullshat. I’m 6’5”-6’6” and I’m at 260 and it says I’m supposed to be 150-200lbs. No way in hell Im ever gonna be under 245, I have way too much muscle. I’ve cut out Most Carbs and only take in around 30-35 net carbs a day.
Get to a weight that you feel good at. People that are on KETO, just pay attention to Cholesterol levels and you’re good.
Have a friend that lost almost 100 lbs in 18 months on Keto and he did it in a way that his skin had time to stay taught.
Depends on your targeted rate. I have a client who averages about 1.8 pounds lost per week, but his compliance is like clockworkAgreed re BMI and the trainer I’m working with said the same, but what’s the best assessment?
