True that but what is better in terms of indoor cardio? I'm limited in AZ. It's hot as F for 5 months.

Outside of shooting hoops at the gym, I like the stationary bike...race the computer. Add in some HiiT. At least something to keep your interest piqued. You can also cut an hour long cardio workout in third.

Agreed re BMI and the trainer I’m working with said the same, but what’s the best assessment? Before I started working out, they did a “body composition analyzer”. We built my next three months based off of that. According to this machine, I’m 43 lbs fat. Pretty gross. Goal is to move 5lbs from fat to muscle by end of three months. That seem right?
Yes, you can cut 5lbs of fat and put on 5lbs of muscle in 3 months.

It will require the right diet and lifting program.

Maximize muscle build while cutting fat and trying not to lose the muscle.

Heavy protein intake. At least 1g per lbs of body weight - it isn’t a perfect science but it works for me.

Been reading the last few pages and gotta comment on that BMI Bullshat. I’m 6’5”-6’6” and I’m at 260 and it says I’m supposed to be 150-200lbs. No way in hell Im ever gonna be under 245, I have way too much muscle. I’ve cut out Most Carbs and only take in around 30-35 net carbs a day.

Get to a weight that you feel good at. People that are on KETO, just pay attention to Cholesterol levels and you’re good.

Have a friend that lost almost 100 lbs in 18 months on Keto and he did it in a way that his skin had time to stay taught.

I'm 6'3". 2010 had me in the best shape since college. I'd dropped 25 lbs from 250 to 225. I'd been lifting three days a week and had increased my muscle mass where it had never been before. Went from 40 waist to 36. My BMI would have me as seriously overweight. Only way I could have gotten my weight down would have been to lost muscle. BMI is worthless.

Then I tore my Achilles and lost all my hard work. 😠

What is happening??
We're not talking lifestyle and workouts but the literal way malnutrition levels are figured by every scientist and health organization on the planet.
It's not meant for use in body sculpting but determining malnutrition
Goot lawd lol.
It's not always about you. 😁

Depends on your targeted rate. I have a client who averages about 1.8 pounds lost per week, but his compliance is like clockwork
