I'm about to get on my soapbox, y'all.

Teachers are saints and don't get enough credit. They're tasked for basically raising other people's kids for 8 hours out of every day, and for some of those kids, are the only adult role models available to guide them. And the joke was already made that they're overwhelmingly underpaid to do so.

But let's not blame the kids for having the issues they do.. and let's be a little slower to judgment for parents who we think 'aren't doing their best job'.. There are so many stressors out there economically, medically, psychologically, that a high-functioning family unit is rare in a lot of areas-- urban, suburban, and rural.

This country has a whole lot of healing to do, and that doesn't happen by calling kids wimps, demonizing parents, or underpaying teachers.

Personally, I blame the musicians.

Shame on you, @Catbone.

I went to a catholic school in kindergarten and I remember the nun/teacher standing behind me and thumping my head repeatedly because "your words aren't spaced far enough apart". I wonder how that would fly in this day and age?

Just be thankful that was the only way you were touched by the clergy...

eh. one of those was questionable...lol.

but skill set wise, for pre season, for next year....that's what i'm getting at.

It's a national media thing. I think they picked the better of our two-- Bryce really wowed me last year. And with us winning only 5 games, and with the secondary talent that's present in the SEC, it could be considered a stretch that we've got 2 of the top 8 CB's in the league.

Post-season awards though, BT and AT should each see a spot in 1st and 2nd team IMO

It would be great
That’s what kids need when they act like little assholes
Kids are very weak minded nowadays, that can’t handle any adversity let alone even take a joke

More kids need to be thumped in the head these days imo

i went to catholic school until 4th grade. nuns are no joke. our principal had her paddle on a rack behind her desk, that sat just above her head behind her.

so anytime you went in there...........you knew what was up. and yes, it had holes in it. lol.

For real. My mother in law said they’re adding 5 dogs next year for kids to pet when they have bad days.

I took a job that was a small pay cut with worse benefits because during my interview the business manager had both her Australian Shepherds roaming around.

One's name was Finn, he was a bit of a chunk when I worked in the office he would stay under my desk at my feet the entire day. It was one of my favorite places to work ever.

Also I support dogs in class, look at how much better off the Stark children were because of having them?

I'm actually surprised they'd allow this. I mean, some schools won't even allow peanut butter because kids are allergic. I'm sure there's some alarmist parent worried about a dog biting kids.
