What makes you think it could kill the NK? The dude was almost invincible, his only weakness was Valyrian steel or obsidian as far as I can tell. He would probably shrug off a smoke monster attack just like he shrugged off dragonfire imo.

haha good point. But no one knew if it couldn't work and it was no risk to try it. She should have at least tried and it was odd that she didn't.

Assuming he has a good year it will be interesting to see how he measures at the combine. He’s a little bit smaller than some of the recent top edge players like Bradley Chubb, josh Allen, clelin ferrel etc so he will probably have to run a really good 40 (sub 4.6) to elevate himself into the top 2 rounds imo.

I could see him running a 4.6 easily and probably has a great vert as well. I remember when he signed and being amazed at his highlight film playing WR. The way he schooled Wilson from UGA I had flash backs of watching Barnett play.

I'd be a little surprised. How many edge rushers ran a sub 4.6 at this combine?

Edit: looks like 5 ran a 4.6 or better.

I think a few did this past combine. Sweat ran a 4.4 at 6'6 260. Von Miller ran a 4.4, think Bradley Chubb clocked a sub 4.6. Taylor is a gifted athlete and if he played for Pruitt since his freshman year he'd be in the NFL already.

I like Taylor but I'm not sure he's in the same league with the guys you mentioned. He's certainly never produced like they did other than occasional flashes. I could see maybe the 4.65 range. Which is still pretty good.

Looking at our 2018 offensive line against just conference competition so as to remove the fluff in stats created against cupcakes and other OOC opponents.

The number of offensive line starts is from Phil Steele which he publishes before every season starts.

I’ve moved the number of sacks allowed from the number of run attempts to the number of pass attempts to show which phase of the offense actually took the loss. So sacks allowed % is based on the total number of passing plays.

Tackles for loss includes sacks but the stuff % subtracts out the sacks allowed to show what % of run attempts ended in a tackle for loss.

I’ve included our 2012 offensive line for reference.

I know everyone thinks we need to do a better job protecting Guarantano, and we probably do, but I don’t think that’s our real problem. I think we need to figure out how to run the football.

Pruitt keeps saying we need to get ourselves in the “right play”. I’m guessing that is on JG. Another thing I think we need to do is get our running backs committed to running north-south. I know David Johnson has spent time in the film room with Tim Jordan on this so we’re obviously working on it. I think this is also one of the main reasons everyone got so excited about Jeremy Banks early on. Finally, the other thing we obviously need to do is find or build some strong and athletic MEN for our offensive line that are capable of doing battle in the trenches. This is recruiting and Fitz.

If Trey Smith plays this year I think we’ll have 66 offensive line starts returning on the roster. By my estimate, a 5-star (immediate impact) freshman offensive lineman is typically worth a minimum of 12 offensive line starts in this analysis.

I think Florida is going to have maybe less than 20 offensive line starts headed into this season and they don’t have anyone even remotely close to being a 5-star.

Strength & conditioning over time makes a huge difference for some lower rated guys but some guys obviously start out with a strength and talent advantage. The one thing that we can’t however take for granted is that even the studs we will have this year will need to learn what to do and they will need to mesh with the interior guys who will be returning. Fortunately, we’ll have around 250 snaps in fall scrimmages and then another perhaps 250 snaps in our first three games to get everyone ready for the swamp. I’m hoping this year we don’t just talk about building continuity but rather actually make it happen. jmo.

If we can figure out how to run the ball this year I think our offensive line will be viewed as being well above average for our conference. jmo.

The table is sorted on negative play %.

Id imagine having a new OC every single year doesnt help the offense either. It seems like 90% of handoffs have been stuffed at the line the past 3 years

Recently did a small upgrade, going from 16 to 32 RAM and from an old style HDD to a SSD....suddenly Windows 10 blue screens on me. Had previously never had the issue. Not entirely sure what's the most likely problem, I've done some digging and found it could be related to Intel Rapid Storage Technology a utility that is on my motherboard drivers disk.

Any other ideas though?

Desperate times and all that.

Patients give me a hard time when I say that I need to hit the head before their procedure. Until I ask would they rather me be relaxed during their procedure or dancing around because I really need to go to the bathroom.... I have never had a patient tell me to man up and hold it lol

But it seemed it was only half-true, because Butch had offered a ton, then Pruitt came in and had to offer his own guys. Hard to see Pruitt being the kind of guy that would go out and spread offers like this.

Reports today are that Tennessee and Nebraska have the most offers at 400+. Makes sense considering the state of both programs.
